" Flame bent down to whisper something in her ear, then gave Stormheart and Smokescreen a fierce glare and stalked off. As soon as he was gone, Smokescreen let her magic loose, bursting into a swirling ball of flames, showing her true sorcerous form. Then her rage was gone, and she was back to looking like a tired, sickly young girl.

Smokescreen sighed. "I know you killed Flame. So does Flare, but she'll find a way to frame me. She'll say you were me in disguise or something. I know I need to join you, but my brother won't like it." She was looking stronger as if the sicklieness was just a side effect of her magic.
