It seemed as if every cat in the clan she tried to play with ended up hating her. Murkyshadow, Spottyfly, and now Duskpaw. What had she done worng?

Laurelkit looked sadly at the apprentice, she had only wanted to help make the cat feel better, she padded back to the edge of the clearing to wait for another cat to play with.

Robinflight's ears pricked at the call to gather. He padded to the growing crowd, copper eyes curious. He sat and looked at his leader for the news.

Robinflight's ears twitched at Lionwhisker's thanks. It felt strange and magical to have his attention at all. The tortoiseshell tom was a warrior, after all, completely unfamiliar with the inner workings of healing. He blinked to ground himself and regain focus. With a slight turn, he made his back more accessible.

Mossyflight used a paw to gently and lovingly pull Laurelkit to him an wrapped his tail around her. "Not sure. We'll have to wait to find out." He groomed her head a little.


Breezehen gave a small smile to the kit. She thought it was sweet her uncle took Laurelkit in. Did that make them cousins? Probably.
