Chapter 1

An empty space between time and reality. In other words, a dream.

Barefoot and curious, Everette stalks between trees of his new possession. His curiosity swallowed his little sense of danger. In the
middle of this dream sits a young girl, with short wheat-colored hair, her back to him as she played in the patch of flowers.
Her shallow hums seemed to fill the woods, drawing him closer.

She finally looked back at him, her eyes widening as her striking hazel eyes studied his unfamiliar figure, causing him to
freeze. Everette slowly raised his hands and a scream erupted throughout the forest without the girl having to open her mouth. Then
the world shatters like a mirror and he finds himself falling into an empty abyss of nothing as his legs and arms flail frantically for anything to secure
himself.

Within seconds, he's just falling alone. Because that was the girl's dream, a forest where she played in a flower patch,
An odd and boring dream he compared to the others. Everette was a dream walker, trapped endlessly in other's dreams, it felt
like a curse. Not having any control of who where or when. The girl had awoken and he'd probably never see her again, just like
many others, a lonesome fate. Everette remembered her soft hum and slowly closed his eyes, mimicking that hum. Some highs and lows,
some soft and soothing some others rough, notes.

Before he knew it, he was on his feet again. Growing up he'd been known for being called a 'Unholy aberration' to those
who called themselves the Divine Right and the Shadow Terrors. The Divine Right was known for its laws and faith. Some
saw them as gods, and Everette saw them as the ones who made this horrid curse, this was a mistake. It had to be. Everette
failed to believe otherwise.

He found himself now underwater, his breath struggling as he pursed his lips together. He began to frantically kick his legs
as he seemed close to the surface before it hit him that he was in someone's nightmare and he wouldn't escape until they
did. But now he heard soft chimes, he knew this wasn't a part of the dream but the Divine Rights. Now more fear made his skin
prickle, the water seemed to have become frozen around him, he felt powerless and weak.

As a breath escaped him he saw that it sunk to his feet, his eyes widened as the realization hit him. Quickly he changed direction,
now swimming down to where his air bubbles had sunken. Another chime made the water tremble as if it feared the Divine as
much as he did. Everette grunted with shaking effort as he saw the bottom which grew more clear as the true surface and not the
mirrored bottom of this endless and vast sea. But he sees a figure before him, only their shadow as if they were standing on a dock or
the surface of the water, Was this the Divine? Or maybe the Shadow Terrors? With a last heaving effort he shot upward and broke the
surface of the water. The surface was solid unlike underneath, pulling his body up and trying to scramble to his feet before the figure could
catch up to him but the weight of the water in his clothes
made his weak legs feel as if carrying weights.

"You're pretty smart, though you could've suffered your endless drowning since your practically immortal." The unfamiliar voice chimed,
it was calm and almost sounded annoyed. Everette turned his head to the figure only to note that they didn't wear the white with
golden lining robed The Divine Right had nor the shadowed fog outline their body. Everette let himself lay flat on the surface as he
narrowed his eyes on the figure. "Immortal? I'd give it up an instant if I-" "Save your breath, your weazing and I can barely hear you."
They quickly interrupted.

"Than at-" "Jeez, do I have to force you to be silent? Even if you can't die by drowning you can still get in a coma and end up sleeping
for a week or so. For a dreamwalker you act as if you don't know any of this." Again they interrupted, sounding annoyed by Everette's
actions. Everette even felt his own temper heat up as some stranger kept telling him what to do.

Quickly and sharply he stood up and snapped, "I don't know who you are but listen to me! Who are you? why are you here? Do you
align with The Divine Right or Shadow Terrors?" His body began to tremble once again. And for what felt like the longest time there was
no response from this stranger who bossed him around so freely.

"Divine?" The stranger leaned forward curiously as if all irritation had disappeared which confused Everette. Everette hesitates
before he nods slowly, "Yes, the Divine Rights." He murmured more quietly this time as he studied him. And after another moment of
silence, he asks again, "What's..Your name..?" and the stranger answers quickly, "Polar."

"Polar..? Just Polar?" Polar just nods, his light brown eyes glint with mischief.

Short Chapter 2

[Will be edited more later]

Polar cocked his head curiously, "Now I'd hope you'd spare your voice. The saltwater and your annoying screaming won't spare you."
This stranger seemed amused, Everette wanted to do anything but listen to them just to get at them but what they were saying made
sense.. or was it an excuse to get him to shut up? Regardless Everette had gotten what he wanted so he sat back down.

Everette finally looked around, now sitting on top of the surface of the water as if there was an invisible platform to keep them from falling
into the waters. A stormy sea, the waves unforgiving. He stayed silent until he silently began to wonder if this Polar person was the dream
maker. Polar seemed so smart about what he was doing, polars white top didn't even have a single drop of water from either the storm or
the fighting sea. Odd, that was what he was. If this was their dream then how come it seemed like a nightmare and Polar seemed so
much at peace?

"So you're the dreamwalker that I've been hearing about." Everette saw the smallest curve in Polar's lips that told him that this was what
he wanted. Why was this stranger so amused at a curse like himself? He felt that Polar was toying with him like a cat batting an unsheathed
paw at him. Before Everette could speak he continued, "Some see you as bad luck, a demon who brings distortion to all those whom he visits.
Is that what you do? Corrupt? Or is there a deeper feeling to it all? A bad history and that you were some high and mighty being and somehow
became the lowest or the lowest? Some original story and such?"

Everette wanted to snap at Polar, to tell him this wasn't some movie or story page. But tiredness began to eat at the last ounce of energy
he had. Simply he just scoffed and laid back, staring up at the thundering grey clouds, he couldn't help but think that maybe some god was
arguing for his sake. Maybe one Greek god or something, or maybe just the storm itself...?

Everette shot up, his silvery eyes darting to every surface of this new place. He was now on what seemed to be a mountain high above the clouds.
The warmth of the sun seemed to drink away his fatigue. Allowing himself to relax and slump his aching back as he realized he was not in any
horrible dream of thunder
