Chirpingpaw is a small, frail cat with short legs. She hits a growth spurt towards the end of apprenticeship that gives her some height but she is always thin and small-boned. Her fur is a heather grey and never seems to lie flat. No matter what, it always sticks out. Luckily, it’s as soft as cotton to make up for it. Her big, round eyes are a brilliant golden-amber- like sap!

Chirpingpaw is like a freshly bloomed flower or the warmth of napping in the sunlight after a day of playing in the rain. She is the epitome of simple exuberance. The small molly can find the joy in the simplest of things and always has a way to spot the bright side, something that makes her a pleasure to be around for nearly every cat.
She loves to talk and joke and giggle but is a wonderful listener too and, while giving advice makes her nervous, she always tries. In fact, she always tries at everything. Chirpingpaw’s goal in life is to try everything once and she never lets fear hold her back from trying new things even though she actually finds herself jittery and nervous pretty often.
Chirpingpaw wants to be the best she can and is always searching for self-improvement. She wants her clan to be the best it can be as well, but her care extends for the whole forest and she envisions everyone within it being their peak selves. Still, any opportunity to do more for her clan and improve herself in the process is a golden opportunity to Chirpingpaw.
Chirp is pretty mature for her age and gets along well with adults but she also likes to let loose and do silly things with her young friends too. She isn’t above a little fun troublemaking as long as it doesn’t directly hurt someone and Chirp doesn’t worry too much about the rules. She uses them more as a guide to not hurt others rather than a hard law.
Basically, Chirpingpaw lives life for the joy of it and for the pursuit of personal progress. If she’s changing, she’s happy- whether that comes from mistakes or from victories. She doesn’t dwell on anything very long and will move forward. She’ll blame herself once and then move on or she’ll praise herself once and then move on.

Gloomysun is a medium-sized molly with long legs. Her soft fur starts off as white but is splotched with pale greys and gingers and some brown. The muted tones of her pelt are rounded out by the muted baby blue of her eyes.

Gloomysun’s name is a half misnomer. She may have been named for her muted fur but that hasn’t stopped cats from expecting this perky she-cat to be a grumpy gus all the time (even though she got her name was a newborn and literally didn’t have a personality yet!) Frankly, it gets very annoying to always have cats telling you “oh wow, I thought you’d be so grumpy, but you’re really nice!” Yeah! Of course!
Gloomy gets a bit heated about her name, but you would too if you had a name that totally didn’t fit your personality! Gloom is a bubbly, friendly cat who is always down for a chat or a game. She loves interaction and she’s a total extrovert who craves being around others. She’s also a little ball of energy and is very proud of the fact that she’s never napped a day in her life.
Honestly, her name is really bad for her image too! Gloomysun wants to go places, she wants to be someone! And no cat is ever going to take her as a serious cat with a name that makes her sound sad and lazy.
Gloomysun has a bit of a temper and she gets irritated easily, but she rarely gets fully angry. Mainly she just throws a little tantrum and then she’s over it and back to her smiley self. Most of her tantrums come from being told that cats expected her to be different, to be honest, and anyone close to her knows that she will kick your butt if you call her by her name. She goes by Glo or by Sunny exclusively among her friends.
Along with her temper, Gloomy is loud. She has an inside voice for normal conversations but she’s figuratively loud. This cat is opinionated and will share her opinions with anyone she believes needs to hear them. It’s for the betterment of the clan that warriors offer suggestions for change, after all!
Gloom is very competitive and can come off as high strung or self-centered, but she actually cares about other cats’ opinions and feelings! She’s just too used to cats believing they can tell her anything without hurting her feelings- like “I thought you were such a jerk when we first met!” Ouch!
Thus, she can be a bit standoffish at first, but it isn’t too hard to get past her half-assed walls and then she’ll talk your ear off nonstop!

Sprigroot is a cutie pie! And boy does he know how to use it to his advantage. It’s hard not to love the tom when you look at him and Sprigroot knows just how to play his cutesy looks. He can manipulate toms with the betting of his eyes and have them doing anything for him.
Now, Spriggy isn’t a bad guy. He doesn’t really manipulate anyone to claw his way to power or anything- he just likes attention. Icestar can have her position, he just wants the affection. He loves to be the center of attention and to have everyone’s eye on him. He also loves to be the receiver of cuddles and kisses and just general lovin.
Sprig is a flirtatious boy who loves to flaunt his looks and keep toms hooked, but he has standards! Pretty high ones actually that make him come off pretty snooty but whatever, he deserves the best! And he gets it. Sprig likes to be pampered. He can get his paws dirty for Shadowclan no problem and goes about his duties no questions asked, but at the end of the day he just wants one of his boy-toys to bring him some prey and groom his fur. Of course Sprig reciprocates with affection and cuddles and he’ll even let them be the little spoon every once in a while.
He is also a pretty funny dude and a blast to be around whether you’re one of his boy toys or not. Sprig has a way of sucking in all of the atmosphere of a place and making it his own so it’s no wonder he’s always the main event. And that’s the way he likes it.

Woah, watch out! Tough guy coming this way. Woollyflame is an intimidating dude. He’s pretty big and he always has the same grumpy face- well maybe more stoic than grumpy. He just looks like he means business- and he does. Woolly doesn’t have time for nonsense. He has work to do and cats to protect and he’s very good at hunting and fighting. He looks and acts like the perfect warrior machine.
But insiiide! He’s pretty much the same. Except he actually does have feelings- contrary to popular belief- and he can be the sweetest thing if you expect it from him. Woolly has lived for a long time with the expectation that he be tough because he is a big Shadowclan cat and he lives up to it but he is also capable of living up to any other expectation. Woolly is like a chameleon- he can change himself to fit anyone who asks him to. He is tough of course but he can be an empathetic listener or a silly jokester or the moral discusser.
The thing is- it’s been so long that Woolly doesn’t even know who he is. He can’t remember his real personality. It eats at him at night that he doesn’t know who he truly was meant to be after all this time of forcing himself to be everything for everyone else. The one thing that Woolly longs for yet doesn’t believe he’ll ever find is a cat who can show him his true colors and help him start living for himself.
