Cloudsong tasted the air as she nodded. She crept towards a hare before springing on it. Wait. Something was wierd. "It didn't even notice me... it was eating those." She pointed her tail to a pile of nuts and berries.

She ran over and sniffed them “ odd..normally they would smell us even if they are eating..” she mumbked in thought sitting down

The white shaded molly paid little regard to the conversation commencing behind her between both Crowpaw and Speckleleap. She knew little of them, possessing knowledge only of their ranks and aliases. And since it appeared as though they hadn’t bothered with her, she wouldn’t be bothering them. Rather, her mind focused upon the patrol, olive eyes forward and ears pricked to heed the rushing current of the river. She shuddered. Hemlockhill would not understand how the cats of RiverClan could tolerate the hazardous waterways.

Though she shook her head clear of her inner queries; there was no sense in trying to comprehend the incomprehensible. Hemlockhill, instead, trudged forwards, lifting her polydactyl paws with grace and elegance before planting them in her desired position. Her tail curled to usher the two along, jaw fastened tightly together as a sharp exhale came from his flared nostrils. A buzz had caught her attention, lifting her gaze t view the patterned bug flying over her cranium. She smiled.

Nature was always precious and she favored each living creature inhabiting the world as she knew it; all possessed uniqueness and lives worth living and contained with purpose. She felt gratitude towards the bees that pollinated the ecosystem, though wouldn’t display such affection outwardly. The stingers along their backs presented quite the difficulty for the cats of the patrol, especially when it appeared the buzzing of the bees began to grow louder and louder. Hemlockhill stopped in his tracks.

“Wait,” She raised her tail to heed her peers, eyes scanning along the surface of the earth before blinking. Somewhere, she knew, along the grassy plains the sound of hive lingered. Hemlockhill could recognize it from a fox-length away if need be, having succumbed to her ebbing curiosity as an apprentice when she had dared to investigate the licks of a bees next in the trees. Never again, She had sworn to herself, having been situated in the medicine den until her stings had healed. She wild hate for Crowpaw or Speckleleap to be caught in the same predicament. “Keep on your toes,” Hemlockhill advised. “I hear yellowjackets… they tend to make a nest from old burrows. Do you hear them as well?”

Cloudsong turned and found some bushes to crouch in. She waited until a squirrel creeped up to the free food and began chewing on the feast. Cloudsong bended down and leaped onto the squirrel. "Hey, it worked!" She purred.

She smiled happily “ I’m glad it did!” She pounded on a sparrow before it landed placing it in a pile looking at the other with a smile
