Ponderosapaw was coming to the training grounds while she was searching for interesting plants or herbs to explore but sighed when she saw Logpaw and "Stickpaw" playing together. She trotted over, wearing a fake smile. "Hiya again Logpaw! Whatcha playing there with Stickpaw?"

Logpaw smiled Ponderosapaw almost would become his second cat friend, Shinefang was currently his ownly cat friend. He purred,” I’m teaching Stickpaw to hunt.” He meowed happily. He didn’t think much about that.

Logpaw nodded,” Sure. Stickpaw keep practing stalking alright?” He meowed turning to Pondserapaw happy to hunt with her. He didn’t get her joke none the less.

The apprentice she-cat got down into a hunter's crouch then sneaked up behind Logpaw like a snake slithering through tall grass. She pounced and surprised him, batting his face with her paw.

He yelped in suprised,"I'm not prey!" He stammered not fighting back.

He spotted a vole and dropped into a mediocre hunting crouch and stalked forward lunging and pouncing on it, biting it. He only got prey about half the time, but still he was hunting nonetheless. He licked his lips and buried the prey, assuming she was hunting aswell.

Ponderosapaw got up and span around to see Logpaw burying a vole and licking his lips. She was surprised of course but annoyed that he got distracted and went for something else instead of her. At least he's happy with himself...I hope his mentor isn't too harsh on him...
"Logpaw, could you maybe do that again? So I can see? I wasn't looking last time..."
She mewed.

He blinked,” What. I was hunting?” What was I suppose to do?” He didn’t understand that she wanted to battle train, he was mostly thinking she was weird for confusing him for prey.
