Kaida

Kaida crashed through the forest, branches whipping her face and her feet thudding on the forest floor. Panic raced through her as she realized how much her actions could have costed her. Running away from Aito's cave was not good and she had made a dumbass mistake doing it. Kaida cried out as her bare foot stepped on a sharp rock. She fell to the ground and looked at her foot. It was calloused from walking around barefoot all her life, Kaida eyed the offending rock. It was fairly large but it was sharp, she could see a point of blood on the sharp tip. At least she hadn't broken anything off, wouldn't want rock pieces getting underneath her skin and giving her a nasty infection. It had happened a few years ago and Aito had to sedate her the pain was that bad. Lucky for her however, Aito was a water a dragon, he was able to clean the wound thoroughly. Kaida shook away the memories and assessed her foot. A small trickle of blood mixed with the dirt that had accumulated on her feet after she had run away. It had been days and she hardly stopped for food or anything to drink. She was wasting daylight right now though and needed to get moving. Heaving her self up she tested her foot. A sharp pang came from it. Great, now she would have to move at an even slower pace. Kaida stretched out her senses, her dragon eye as she liked to call it, and felt the call of a river nearby. Kaida walked towards it at an agonizing pace. Her foot hindering her steps. Kaida became increasingly aware of how much time she was taking, it would not be long before Aito found her, but she couldn't go back now, Aito would be furious. Kaida's head dropped with sadness, she would never see the loving dragon again.

The river finally appeared through the dense thicket of trees. A flowing body that sung to her very essence. Kaida responded with her own lullaby that Aito had taught her. At the command of her sweet voice the water came out of the river in a suspended stream of water. Kaida sat on the ground and continued to sing, her beautiful melodies filling the forest. The water hit her foot and worked around in the wound, cleaning out remaining rock bits and dirt. Kaida's breath hitched in pain and the water quavered in the air before she quickly resumed her song. The silver of water retreated from her foot and spilled out a mix of blood, rocks, and dirt. She sung the water back into the river and sighed with relief and exhaustion. Her soul felt drained at the use of the magic. It would take her days to recoup the magic, may as well start now. Kaida stood up and walked the distance to the river, her foot already feeling better. The bit of healing magic she had sung into the had stopped the wound from swelling up anymore and numbed the pain. Kaida took a deep breath before laying herself completely flat in the river, the water rushing above her and twisting her light hair in the currents.

The nymphs of the stream filled her head with song and she already began to feel rejuvenated. Her body however wasn't the best vessel for magic and some of the nymphs song had floated away with the current. Her lungs burned when the nymphs had finally stopped singing, her body filled with magic again. She knew some of it would be lost as she traveled and didn't use it but that was ok with her. Once Kaida had come up from the water before the nymphs were done and had lost everything single drop of energy she had. It startled her because it was taken away so forcefully by the water nymphs. Sometimes their song was short and powerful. Other times the nymphs sang long and sweet ones. One time she had to stay under for 30 minutes until the nymphs finished, she had almost passed out from the effort. Now she was careful about small streams since they were the ones that took a long time. She was also careful about large bodies of water. They had the quickest songs but contained so much magic that she would self-combust. Only Aito bathed in the ocean or lakes. Kaida stepped out of the stream and felt her clothes magically dry themselves. An air nymph had once come by their cave and asked for shelter. Considering they were a ways down in the ocean Aito agreed and in return she had made clothes that would instantly dry themselves for Kaida.

Kaida sighed at the memory of the cave. Aito's ancestors had used the large cavern before him and one had been a master of the wind. She had encircled the entire cave with a wall of air, keeping out the ocean that would run in through one part for the cave. The only air access the cave had was a small tunnel that Aito had made for her. Aito normally came in through the air wall. The magic allowed dragons to go through but no one else. Kaida had once tried but the air was as solid as the rock walls. Kaida remembered the memories fondly and felt regret and guilt that she could never go back. Aito would be furious at her escape. He normal kept the air entrance closed but the night of her 16 birthday he had left it open. She had left that night. Her curious and rebellious spirit overriding any other instinct to stay. Kaida continued to walk through the forest allowing her hair and skin to dry in the cool breeze that flowed through the trees.

Aito

Aito flew at a furious pace over the forest. His sinewy body whipping through the air. Kaida, his little dragon, had escaped from the cavern and Aito was determined to find where she went. His mind worked at a worrying pace. She could be dead by now and dashed to pieces by other dragons. Or she could be alive and hurt. Maybe she had been kidnapped. Aito's brain conjured up so many possibilities. He smelled the air for magic and smelt the acid Tang of shadow magic. Worried he began to circle where he had smelled it and saw a human walking side by side with a small black dragon, the drain smelling strongly of the magic. Aito landed near them. His shimmering white and blue scales were as hard as the cold gaze he gave the two, "Have you seen a girl, white hair, green eyes?"

Haruhi

Haruhi walked though the woods at a calm pace. Her mind absorbed with absolute wonder of the forest that stretched before her. She breathed in the scent of decaying wood, fresh plants, and new dirt. She sank to the ground, her skirt getting dirty in the process. Cupping her hands around a flower she began to sing to it, a little melody she came up with on her own. She sang about new life and beautiful flowers, about the wonders that nature offered. She looked down at her hands but the flowers had stayed the same, nothing changed about it. Haruhi sat in disappointed silence and released the flower. A sudden yell disrupted her silence however and she heard someone singing in a language she had never heard. Haruhi gently drifted to the voice, her feet making no sound. She peered around a tree and watched a girl with white hair and a beautiful dress begin to levitate a stream of water from the river nearby. She watched in fascination as the girl cleaned her foot and bathed in the river. She watched as the girl walked away without saying another word. Haruhi ran after her, eager to ask how she had done the magic she had just witnessed.

Sano was moving around the forest His one eye glowed softly as he took in the looks of the place, his body moved and made soft clicking sounds as he walks and soon jumps onto a tree. He slashes his glass tail a bit as his mouth opens a bit, still he just waited and watched for something. Something big and interesting, he shakes his head a bit as he jumps down and suddenly just fades into the shadows disappearing and moving along the ground like a snake of sorts till eventually he appears again this time in front of a other dragon almost immediately he backs up a bit and growls softly slashing his tail a bit more “ Not a human. Not interested “ he says simply in a dark husky voice.

She crashed into the ground and quickly picked herself up and got into a fighting stance. Aito had warned her about dragons who didn't like humans and she was not about to end her life as some dragon's meal. The magic seemed to him around her and the river nearby sung a sweet chorus to her as she began to prepare her magic in counterattack. She had just been filled with magic and was ready to throw a distraction, then run.

Haruhi

Haruhi watched as the girl seemed to vanish from sight, Haruhi sighed in disappointment and walked back to the stream the girl had bathed in fully clothed. She knelt near the river and let her fingers drift through the magical water.

fern could sense the human.thats just what she needed to mess up her hunting which was bad already.she growled hopeful that the thing that alway called itself smart would just leave.she hasn't learned fight while she was blind yet

Inferno forced himself not to lash out at the dragon.He had been minding his own business,trying to track down a deer he had smelled,when this stranger came out of nowhere."What do you want?" Inferno asked,but couldn't keep a little bit of annoyance from his voice.

Rhaegar leaped off his friends back his armor clanking together as he hit the ground,"Do you speak my tongue."He questioned,"Or do you speak this one."He was now speaking in dragon tongue and while it was still a bit sloppy it was understandable to say the least.

Xoloron snorted as Rhaegar spoke the language that was so native to him.
