Raventuft dipped his head respectfully. "Shadowclan is my home" He replied. What would she say about his training? "So, can you give me any training?" He demanded. He just wanted to prove himself, was there a better way to ask? He wondered. Still, Raventuft stood his ground. I'm ready.

Thornheart flickered her russet and black tail, gazing upon the tom that stood before her.
"It would be a pleasure to train you, but I need to know why you are here, and if you really want this. " She looked at him with questioning eyes, her left one twitching a bit. And the fog started surrounding the both of them. Slight whispers echoing through the dark. Although, something was lighting up the misty camp.

Raventuft looked around trying to source the whispers in the mist, but he couldn't see anything. What's going on? Raventuft looked back at the she-cat. "I'm here so I can prove myself to my clan. Many others have left Shadowclan like me before, or joined. But when I came back, many cats loathed me. I want to prove myself, and all the others wrong! I am willing to do this" He stared into Thornheart's eyes. "For the greater good" He replied, straightening up. "Well?" Raventuft waited for Thorn to reply.

Thornheart purred in amusement. "I'm glad you came to the Dark Forest to train, you seem worthy enough for it." She looked over to where the whispers were coming from. "And don't worry about those whispers, it's what happens all the time in the place of no stars. Now come on, let's get to the hunting ground. Unless, you'd like to do something else." Thornheart snapped a twig from a large, hollow tree, splitting it in half with her sharp claws.

Raventuft shook his head. "The hunting grounds are just fine" He mewed. Glancing at the stock the molly just tore, he felt his heart thump faster. That's what'll happen to me if I betray them, he realized. I'll be torn apart. Raventuft breathed in confidently. Then I will work as hard as I can. I won't betray them like I did my clan. With a final glance back, he followed Thornheart into the mist.

"Now, if you were a warrior in Shadowclan, then of course you know how to hunt." Thornheart leaped onto one of the branches on a bare oak tree. Climbing up until she found a blue jay, sleeping in it's nest. "It may be a large stock of prey, but they're harder to catch . Although, once you live in this place for long enough, it's just like clan hunting." Thornheart pounced on top of the bird, her claws sinking into it's flesh. She hopped down and started eating her reward. "But it's one cat for themself here. No fresh kill pile, even the kits learn to hunt quickly. "

"There's not much. Judt on a rare ocassion. They may have done something at their apprentice's ceremony. But I'm not really sure about it." Thornheart licked her lips and saw a squirrel peering out of a hole in another oak tree. "Why don't you get started on that squirrel over there?" She commanded.

Raventuft nodded. The hunting style was different here, it seemed. When he saw Thornheart's hunting, he noticed that she didn't stalk, she just ran and caught things swiftly. I might try that too, he supposed. He tensed his muscles and hared up the tree. The squirrel noticed and gave a squeak of alarm, and started running upwards. But Raventuft grabbed it by the tail and slammed it down on the ground. Jumping down with it, he delivered the killing bite. He lifted his head. "There!" Raventuft mewed.

"I can see that you understand the strategy for hunting here." Thornheart grinned, noticing that Raven tuft could be ready for sparring, if he knows how to hunt this way, then maybe he's ready to spar already.
"Very well then, how about we move over to sparring? I'll take it easy on the first round,and then it'll get harder when you move on." Thornheart's claws unsheathed, the misty fog started building up again around them.
