"Okay!" Cinderdust gathered up the herbs Midnightstripe pointed to. They tasted awful. Putting them away, she responded to her mentor's question after thinking for a bit. "Sorrel, daisy leaf, Burnet, and...I don't remember the last one." She hung her head sheepishly. How am I supposed to be a medicine cat if I forget this stuff?

She nodded, Good. The last one is Chamomile. she said.

The she-cat sighed. Maybe she could go help with the herbs.. after all, she spent at least half her apprenticeship helping with the sick and injured.
Maybe one day I can become a medicine cat, she thought.
It was unlikely though. VoyageClan currently had a medicine cat, and a medicine apprentice. She sighed.

Sighing, the leader leapt down from the pile and padded to her den. The scent of smoke drifted on the wind, so she stopped, tasting the air a little and frowned. Glancing over at Fennelspring, Rainstar turned and hurried to her. ¨Fennelspring, could you please make sure the kits, queens, and elders are safe and ready in a while?¨

Rainstar nodded with approval. ¨Thank you,¨ She said, tasting them. They tasted bitter, and she wrinkled her nose a little. ¨Make sure the rest of the clan gets some.¨ She ordered, pushing the rest back to Cinderdust. ¨I will happily give up mine for my clan.¨

She smiled around the parcel as Cinderdust passed the traveling herbs to the leader. Midnightstripe, on the other hand, would be gathering the small herb store and carrying them.
