A Siamese she-cat stretched in the early morning sun, basking in the welcomed light. Such sunshine Rainstar hadn´t seen in a long while, especially now being the Days of Fire and Smoke. At that thought, she glanced to the south, where seen a distant plume of smoke was rising over the horizon. It was closer than yesterday.
Too close for comfort.
Once again, Voyageclan would move.
Padding into the center of camp, the clan leader leapt onto a pile of branches and yowled.
¨Cats of Voyageclan! The fire is close, a little too close. We will move at Sunhigh today, and journey to the north.¨

Midnightstripe
The medicine cat soghed and went back to her small herb storage. They moved so often in the Fire and Smoke season. She sorted through them and chose traveling herbs, setting them aside. She bundled the rest in their respective groups, Juniper, Borage, Marogold, and Feverfew. She growled irritably at the measly store but kept silent. It would be hard enough to carry the small parcels as it was, so she wasn't complaining.

Yay! Moving! Cinderdust flicked her tail back and forth in excitement. Finding new places, exploring, travelling, it was the best thing ever! She ran up to her mentor to see what she could do to help. "Midnightstripe! Isn't this great! New places!" Calm down. You're a medicine cat, be more professional. "What can I do to help?"

She grunted, Not much now. When we get ready to leave, you need to pass out those traveling herb packets. I used the last of them, so we'll have to get more. Daisy leaf, Burnet, and Chamomile. Names she had had instilled into her brain since kithood. She smiled, Do yoj know what the traveling herbs are?

[Apologies if Cinderpelt already has passed training. I just know that sometimes warriors are appointed medicine cat apprentice and still keep a warrior name.]

( @Peril I'm gonna say she was a warrior, it's more interesting and I get to rp her learning. I actually looked up the traveling herbs lol )

"Okay!" Cinderdust gathered up the herbs Midnightstripe pointed to. They tasted awful. Putting them away, she responded to her mentor's question after thinking for a bit. "Sorrel, daisy leaf, Burnet, and...I don't remember the last one." She hung her head sheepishly. How am I supposed to be a medicine cat if I forget this stuff?
