Acornkit let out a playful hiss, padding towards the front of his father. He reached up, pawing at Adderfrosts nose, his brows furrowed as he let out a mew.
His ears flicked, Smallkit and Redkit could talk?
Huh, what a surprise. Letting out a mew, he huffed realizing it wasn't words.
Maybe he would speak soon! Padding over to Foxjump, he sat down in front of her.

Graypaw walked into camp, his fur was still wet from the river that he had fallen in to save a cat. A mouse and two sparrows hung in his jaws to make up for the fish he had eaten. He felt a little guilty, but he did come back with better prey. The tom added his catch to the pile and washed off the evidence.

Featherkit, frustrated at what she was missing, let out an annoyed sound, which quickly turned into a mew of surprise, as she was able to open her eyes. She blinked a few times, her foggy vision clearing a little bit, and she was able to make out her father, along with her brothers and sister, who were batting playfully at him, and some where talking, just like their parents.

The small Siamese kitten made a promise to herself as she looked at this family that she loved. I will always protect them. Her thoughts, because she did not knowing words or the meanings of them, were a jumble of things that meant just the same thing.

I will protect them. I will love them. I will be there for them.

Thronkit hissed playfully at his father. His butt wiggled as he crouched down to prepare himself to pounce on Adderfrost. The little tom pounced on his Father's tail and began pawing at it, "Bad badger!" He cried.

Cindercloud remained beside him, seemingly content that she finally had someone to talk to. Whether or not he was annoyed with her, she couldn't really tell. "Since we haven't really spoken to each other before today, how about we get to know each other more?" The she-cat suggested, her eyes glimmering with joy. "We can start simple.." She looked around as she thought of a question. "Like.. Oh! What's your favorite kind of fresh-kill? Mine's vole."

Blueberrypaw smiled as she agreed. “That’s nice. We should all get days off but, the need for food is more important than resting.” He meowed. After she took a bite he took one. “How have things been going with your mentor? Any fighting or hunting techniques?” He asked tilting his head.

Adderfrost swung his muzzle to Thornkit then Redkit, letting out loud huffing noises.

"Badgers aren't bad!" He growled playfully, roughening his mew, "They just love the taste of kittens!"

He gave a snort of laughter, grabbing Redkit and tossing him on his back, then grabbing Thornkit and doing the same. With a grunt, he began to lumber around the den, swaying to and fro.

"And badgers LOVE giving badger rides to cute little kits!" He added, continuing to sway and lumber around, letting out a purr.

Waterpaw nodded, "I learned how to sneak up on a cat without them knowing I was there.", she replied. She had learned the ultimate surprise which was now one of her favorite moves. They would'nt be able to hear her coming. Waterpaw laid down, tucking her paws underneath her.
