Blu munched on a plant, his ears perked as he listened for any predators. He tore the plant from its roots, munching on it. He moves fpward through the sunlit forest, his wings tucked close to his body.

Meza stretched, standing up on the rock she had been napping on. She had traveled a few days away from the desert, and in about a week she would go back to the barren place, away from the mountains. She flared her wings before lifting off, soaring above the place, surveying the place below her for any prey.
