The tiny kit mewled pathetically, a blow landed rough on her shoulder, then her back. She didn't know where she was. Who was there. Or who she was in fact.
Everything hurt, her vision was blurry.
Everything was horrible.
She screamed as claws raked her belly.
These cats were very keen on torturing her.
A hard hit landed on her head, and she screeched.
She only now realized that these cats were laughing at her.
Her eyes welled up with tears of pain.
As they started spilling, the two cats spat at her.
One tried to scratch her eye, but she was able to thrust away.
The two cats, one a white she-cat, the other one a brown-point tom. They were responsible for how much blood she was spilling.
But, then, they left?
They gave her food, maybe a whole morsel if she was lucky. But now they were leaving?
Her little legs tried hobbling over to them. But she flopped down, a large wound on her fore-leg dragging her down.
The pair of cats didn't come back.
No matter how much she desperately mewled, they were gone.
Her screams for them went unnoticed.
Her whimpers were in vain.
No matter how hard she cried.
But sometimes, cats walked by.
They must've pitied her, as sometimes they threw a whole half mouse down beside her.
At this point, she'd been forcefully weaned, and she gobbled the mouse up with pleasure.
Other times she just got a bug.
A season passed, Hoshi - A self given name - was scouting for a den.
She'd been born in Leaf-fall, and she was unaware the freezing doom that was about to strike.
The cold ravaged at her like vicious dog claws, and the snow pounded her like miniature thorns.
She couldn't find enough to eat.
She spent Leaf-bare huddle in a small badger sett, it was still inhabited. She could always hear and smell when the badger came back, and she could run out of the den in time.
But one faithful night, she'd been asleep.
The badger of course was furious to finally catch her sleeping in its den.
She got a good pelt of wounds that night.
She squirmed past the badger, narrowly escaping with a full tail and pelt.
She calls leaf-bare Cold'Night, or No'Sun.
It was particularly bad where she was.
The sun was only up for a few hours everyday.
Up to now, she's just been wandering.
She's barely recovered from her kithood, but she's trying to get over it.
She's still believing they care for her.
Other than a few crushes, she's basically alone.
But recently, she's been getting pretty curious about the Clan Cats.
Surely that couldn't go wrong.
