Similar to Alpinekit, Morningkit is also on the sadder sad of cats and often thinks that sleeping is better than whatever happens in life. He is very calm and quiet and is often a bit socially distant from even his family at the moment. Though it is planned that his mother will die soon which causes him to get closer to his siblings (he has 6 siblings ) Overall I think the two would mesh well together and have some interesting interactions.

Friend, maybe best friends in the future. Morning would need to build a relationship before considering another cat his best friend.

Relationship
I think they could maybe have a cute little relationship and maybe they do people watching together because they both are the ‘watch rather than interact’ types. Morningkit gets more feisty during his apprentice moons but I think he would remain kind to Alpine because they knew each other before he started to close himself off (as result of losing his mother.)

Plots
Maybe they meet while Morningkit is stuck in the nursery because he is currently injured and the two bond because they are both kind of left out.

Whenever should be fine with me. Morningkit, as I said previously, is a bit injured so he'll be in the nursery. Maybe you can do a starter where Alpinekit notices him being apart from the other kits and curiously approaches. Then Morningkit can awkwardly try and start a conversation? Or something along those lines?
