What could a small molly like her do to an entire clan?

Aster returned the tom’s smile. “Okay, good. I’d hate for you to get in trouble because of me.” Really, she’d feel so guilty over it. And these clans sounded strict; she didn’t know what kind of trouble Cactuspaw would get in for talking to her.

”Yea, maybe!” Really, though, Aster wasn’t sure how her family would respond to her bringing a visitor back that they hadn’t yet met. But that could wait- after all, she didn’t even know Cactuspaw too well yet. After a few more meetings, she’d know him well enough to have him visit her at home.

Aster returned the nuzzle, not one to turn away from kind gestures. “I’ll see you around, then, Cactuspaw! Have a wonderful day!” The molly backed a way, flicking her tail as if to wave goodbye. Oh well- she should be getting home soon anyways, or else her parents would get suspicious. She didn’t want to worry them.

Ambercloud trudged through Thunderclan territory, carefully holding a bundle of fur between her jaws. She had given birth to Cloudykit what seemed like not a long time ago and now she was already giving him up to Sagerain. She wished she had fought and argued more because now as she reached the border regret was starting to weigh her paws done. She carefully placed the kitten down between her paws and licked him between the ears. "It's ok, Cloudykit. You'll like it in Riverclan. Sagerain will take care of you." She murmured, attempting to hide the pain in her voice. It seemed as if she were trying to convince herself that he'd be ok. Ambercloud kept her gaze up keeping careful watch on both sides. It wouldn't look good if a Thunderclan patrol had found her with her kitten at the Riverclan border but she had planned this carefully. Now she just had to wait for her ex-mates arrival.
