Slatestripe was desperate to find some way to reconcile a pressing desire to do something with his absolute hatred of this damn weather. After pacing around the warriors’ den for some time and musing, he eventually concluded that it would be a good day to visit Bearkit. It seemed Swiftkit had gone missing, leaving Bearkit all alone.

Slatestripe had previously felt nothing but positivity toward Blossomflight; now, he only felt disappointment and disdain. She had failed to perform her most important duty: remain in camp and care for her kits. Since she had gone, there was nobody to ensure Swiftkit and Bearkit didn’t wander off and do something stupid.

The black and gray warrior took a deep breath before plunging out into the misty weather. He darted across camp to the nursery as fast as he had in moons. Relief swamped him when he made it inside.

He scanned the nursery, looking for Bearkit.

Bearkit was moving a piece of moss around with his front paws when he heard someone enter. He looked over his shoulder and saw Slatestripe. The little kit went back to moving the moss ball around.

Elkkit was practicing his vocabulary.

"Never!" Beechkit launched himself at Shallowkit, feeling Houndkit's pelt brush his. He landed right in front of the kit and tried the move that Cinderpaw had taught him the other day. Swipe quickly with two front paws. To his delight, he didn't wobble as he landed, planting his paws down and standing strong. @Aethon @Rapid

The tom took a step back then launched himself at ShallowKit,
using Beechkits attack as a distraction he tried to land on their
back and pin them but with his uneven eyes he fumbled.

Moonshadow licked her ginger fur, plump with the belly of unborn kits. She smiled and silently laughed at the kits' in the nursery playing, like kits do.

Shallowkit back up and launched herself on top of Houndkit. "You're not a string leader. Thing was she accidentally insheathed her claws.
