you grab the gun. you had just heard a gunshot near by and now someone was knocking at your door? you didnt know who could be out here. the gun feels heavy in your hands but it also feels comforting at the same time as you make your way down the stairs, the only thing you can hear is the subtle creaking of it and the knocks at the door. you open it, gun hidden behind the door as you do so. its a man? well, what had you expected. he had dirty blond hair and brown eyes, but something just didnt..sit right. you gripped the gun in your left hand. he looked towards you, a big smile on his face. it looked forced, though he piped up,¨hey! sorry about those gunshots, they were a little bit close.¨ he gave a nervous laugh, which you did too just to not make it awkward,¨yeah...its okay. i guess.¨ you replied hesitantly. he looked so cheery, you didnt know how your paranoid presence hadnt dampened that. ¨may i come in? i always like to meet the new residents.¨

you eye him for a moment before nodding, opening the door wider to let him inside. you shove the gun behind the door so he doesnt see it, letting your features soften innocently with a polite smile. he seemed...off. you didnt know wht it was, but he just did. he made his way inside, brown hues looking and gazing all over the cabin,"is it just you here? its pretty big just for you." you gave a nod,"yeah,its quiet out here compared to the city." you admitted. you didnt know the last time you had really...socialized with someone. it had been awhile since you could just relax, away from your family and work. you both made your way to the kitchen,leaving the gun behind you. you settled your self against the counter, him on the other side. you liked to keep atleast something inbetween you both.

"Im guessing its your first time here, seeing you came alone. do you know how things work around here?" he questioned.

you gave a shake of the head, being honest,"no, i dont. its my first time here,whats up?" what could be different about this hunting ground of all places?

"well if you stay in one of the cabins, your automatically have to be put on someones hunting team, whether youre hunting or not, just to keep attendance of the people and have them bond a bit." he smiled, or perhasp he was always smiling, you couldnt remember watching it fade between his words,"do you have a team yet?"

>A: say yes, even if you dont have one, just to feel like you fit in.
>B: say no, maybe hell offer you a place on his team.
