July Gathering

Another gathering. Oh, no.

Beanpaw still felt majorly overwhelmed, though it seemed... quieter. Oh, only 2 Clans were there. Dear God, there was going to be a whole other Clan. Great. The siamese internally groaned and flattened his ears. He was ready for a long night and a long headache.

Smallpaw would trek into the open gathering space, her tiny legs (munchkin) covered in mud due to her not being able to step over it, She glanced around in awe. ((Open for somebody to make fun of her legs or smth)

Creekleap padded to the gathering, her beautiful fur brushing against the rocks as she sat. She perked her ears at the leaders words. (Open for somebody to flirt with her lol)

Hi Sootpaw! Splashkit mewed, happy her sister had come over. Do you think Lionstar will announce our being apprentices? @Sugarglider @~RooRoo~

Seeing Smallpaw, Shrewpaw bounded over. What do you think Icestar will announce munchkin? he asked, remembering her short legs. He wasn't trying to be mean, but it sounded kind of like a cute nickname. @~Lucid Dreams~

Smallpaw flicked her ear at the toms comment. "Don't call me munchkin- and I dunno." She would mew. @gs29513

"YEAH!" Sootpaw half yelled, half mewed. "Where are ThunderClan and WindClan? Are they here yet?"" She tilted her head as she closed her eyes and sniffed for the two clans. ShadowClan was here, what else would smell like frogs at the seastones? "Let's go talk to those cats!" She was pointing with her tail at two cats (shrew and small).

The RiverClan came up the rear of the clan as always and made note of the ShadowClanners beginning to filter in after Icestar not long after. He kept an eye out for Beastspark and would've made his way over to the Seastones immediately if it weren't for noticing Beanpaw in the crowd. He remembered the nervous little kit that Grizzlybug had brought along and Sootflare was taken aback by the difference between then and now. A short detour wouldn't hurt anyone so he padded over, "You're doing great bud." he meowed. The tiredness in his own body and actions were evident but he offered a reassuring smile all the same, "I can't stay but this one shouldn't take too long - we'll be heading home in no time." He smiled again before finally heading to take his place under Lionstar.

Beanpaw nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard a voice beside him, embarrassed that he hadn’t even realized some cat was talking to him. And not just some cat — Sootflare! Beanpaw listened to the deputy with surprise. Surprised that some cat was saying this to him (besides Grizzlybug, he didn’t know too many other cats) and surprised that Soot had gone out of his way to say it. There wasn’t much time to say anything, but the apprentice replied with a small smile and a genuine "Thanks." He watched the RiverClanner pad away and join the others under the big rock. That small interaction had changed his mindset just a little.

Maybe this wouldn’t be that bad.

Leopardblaze purred, a small smile spreading across her face. "Alright, you have fun," she meowed, watching Sootpaw bound away. She glanced around trying to decided where she wanted to sit or try to recognize someone to sit beside. She hadn't spoken to anyone outside Riverclan in a while and she thought it would be good to talk to someone new.
