Her ear twitched as Dappledpaw heard a voice by her. She turned, eyes wide. "O-oh, uh... Hey." she mewed. Was this her best attempt at being social? No. Well, not yet. She would try this time, though. "Uh... Nice to... Meet you, Gullpaw."
She wanted to slip away. To become invisible. Dappledpaw didn't mean to be awkward, it always sorta just... happened. Especially with new... acquaintances. It just didn't click, not like with Nightpaw. Where was she, anyways? Her eyes darted across the gathered for a second before returning to Gullpaw.

The tom watch as the she-cat nervously looked around. He wanted to think
of it as a bit rude but he couldn't, even he knew how nerves bite. "It's
nice to meet you to. Looking for someone?" He mewed then looked
towards the apprentice den. Then to the leader.

She blinked. "Oh, uh. No. Sorry." Dappledpaw eyed a random leaf tangled in her fur, but didn't pay it too much attention and instead curled her tail around her paws. She apologized again, this time simply for being as jumpy as she was. "Sorry, I usually don't spend a lot of time... Getting to know cats. That's probably why we've never met." she admitted.

I felt falling and Alone. I'd never grow old and decided. It wasn’t time to go.

She apologized again, this time simply for being as jumpy as she was. "Sorry, I usually don't spend a lot of time... Getting to know cats. That's probably why we've never met." she admitted.
She nodded. She understood where he was coming from, it was hard to make friends. She remembered when she was super small, a two moon old kit. She was bouncy and energetic then, friends with everycat... But then she pretty much got part of her face torn off by that stupid fox. She had hid from the rest of the world, refused to show her face for forever. The tortoiseshell was glad she still had both of her eyes.... And that the scars were pretty much covered by her orange and black fur. Almost unnoticeable, besides the fact that there was basically nothing that remained of her ear.
She shook her head. "Oh, I've heard of Kestrelpaw...

He nodded, the hotheaded little molly was his relative. "So what
have you heard about her?" He looked from the rock to DapplePaw,
curious on how others spoke about his sister. Where they harsh?
Not that he would hiss at DapplePaw about her opinion he was
curious how others thought of her.
She blinked reassuringly. Dappledpaw hadn't heard anything bad about Kestrelpaw, Dappledpaw had just seen her from afar. Kestrelpaw was a bundle of energy, maybe a little too much energy. One thing was for sure, Dappledpaw did not want to end up on her bad side. "Kestrelpaw is really cool, and I haven't heard anything bad about her!"
