goosepaw had felt much better lately. while the thought of eating was still horrid in her opinion, she had to admit she was feeling better. living in shadowclan had gone better that she expected as well; daydream was a blast to be around, even if they are a grump sometimes. they were a grump in a good way (if that's even a thing). the diluted apprentice had grown close to them over the past moon or so; laughing, arguing, crying (mostly her crying), bonding...it was nice. when day came in with a mouse between their jaws, goosepaw immediately rolled her eyes. “yeah, yeah. just gimme the stinkin’ rodent.” her eyes glittered playfully, even though she was slightly irritated. she took the mouse by the tail from day’s jaws and plopped it in front of her. she took a small bite and spoke while she chewed. “so what’s the plan for today? better not be more food, because if i eat one more vermin, im blowing chunks.” her yellow eyes danced challengingly up at day.

daydream rolled their eyes, plopping the mouse down as she yanked it out of their grasp. she was growing nicely, and alot more energetic then before. she was gaining weight fast, and daydream knew that they would need to let her return home soon. but they had been thinking about this for a long time. "its actually serious stuff this time, though i hope you dont blow chunks at this," they mewed, settling themselves down across from goosepaw as she ate. they felt proud to be the one to take her from a walking skeleton to a healthy, plump cat to where she suppose to be. she could no doubt start her training within a moon. "its about you going home," they mewed, which sounded ominous at first. they hadnt spoken about her going home until now, they had spent so much time together these past few moons it almost felt...weird that shed go away. if she didnt accept the offer,"i wanted to ask you something important."

Her right ear twitched when flamingpaw spoke again she couldn't help but smile just a tad bit "I would imagine. Pretty things tend to taste fowl and do us harm,but are pleasing to the eye. It's rare if you find something beautiful without having anything deadly with it." she meowed through gingerly licks.

“Lighten up a bit, have some fun sunshine!” Flamingpaw sighed. Flamingpaw was slowly starting to regret coming over to Daturapaw. “Come on, lets play! I know it’s kit behavior but it seems like you need it.” The playful apprentice bat a leaf out of the air. “Come onnnnn!”

Daturapaw flicked her ears at flamingpaws words which made her stop cleaning and to look down in thought, she never really did play and never felt comfortable enough doing so,the only feline she felt comfortable with enough to loosen up with was with thrushpaw but the Molly wasn't around when she was. The introverted part of her mind was telling her not to,but the childlike half of her mind was telling to go on ahead. The Molly didn't answer for some time but now she finally decided to make a choice as she stood up on all of her paws "I know it's an odd thing to hear but I don't really know 'how' to play. I guess I could use some fun after the rough times we had..." she meowed sounding a bit embarrassed before looking confused " your far too ...happy to be an shadowclan cat...I'm almost sorry that you have to be in this clan. " she commented before padding over to flamingpaw " what do you have in mind?" she asked .

goosepaw stiffened. home...the word made her stomach turn. she knew returning to thunderclan would happen sometime, but goose didn’t want to go. she’d spent so much time with day that it felt impossible living without them...hell, she liked them even better than marshy. they were like family to her. like an older sibling or something...what was even the point of returning? it seemed pointless. all her siblings would be busy apprentices, her father is too busy leading the clan, and pollenki-...pollenpaw probably had forgotten about her by now. “oh, um…” the diluted she-cat curled her tail tightly around her paws. day looked pretty serious, was there a problem about going home? did her family not even want her back? was that even so bad? did...day not want her around anymore? goosepaw swallowed hard. “what is it, day?”

Why was it so cold? A shiver ran through Hickoryfang's body, and the tom's teeth audibly clicked together. The tom's fur was naturally thin, and every single leafbare he dreaded the freezing temperatures and envied the thick-furred cats who were all toasty and warm, even in the snow. The tom's scarred ears were turned sideways, and his face betrayed his annoyance and uncomfortableness. He was curled up in the dim sunlight, his bobbed tail twitching. The brown and white tabby had planned on going hunting, but he decided that since he couldn't feel his own paws, it wasn't the best idea. He wanted to go back to his nest, but the other warriors would probably judge him and call him lazy. A sharp breeze swept across the clearing, and Hickoryfang wrapped himself up tighter and shivered again.

" she meowed before sitting down and started to calmly watch the Molly waiting for the lesson to start,but when flamingpaw replied to her comment she hummed again "even the brightest of lights eventually flicker and die...." she whispered to herself in thought , she was thinking about her crush to how thrushpaw is her light so to speak ,yes it may sound fluffy but it reminded her of that. This whole thought processes was starting to upset her but her ears perked up once she spotted the ball of leafs making her tilt her head, bat it in a...c-circle?...that sounds utterly pointless ! she shrugged before reaching her right paw out and half heartedly batted at it making it roll a few mouse lengths away before coming to a stop once more. Daturapaw looked up at flamingpaw for approval with confusion.
