The fluffy molly chuckled again, touching her nose to Carpkit's cheek. Blossomflight curled her tail around the small kit again, purring softly.

Slatestripe nodded. “I appreciate your apology,” he grumbled. Turning to Blossomflight, he asked, “Can I still get you something from the fresh-kill pile?” He hoped Hollowstorm wouldn’t be triggered by him asking.

Swiftkit decided right then and there she was annoyed that her littermates were getting attention. They wanted attention to! To voice that, he let out a stream of squeaks and meows, hoping that his mother would give him attention as well.

The kit shook his head with a giggle, "No, silly! It was close tho! A hint! What's-it look like?" Greenkit grinned at the other. This was a fun game, too bad he was way smarter than the other kit. Probably smarter than all of the other kits. Maybe even everyone in the clan!

He bounced on his paws, unable to stay still. This was boring, he knew he was smart, but this was taking sooo looong. They need to play something after this. Greenkit's not really sure what, but he's seen older kits playing before, he could think of something.

It felt odd, to moonkit, to be called silly, normally it was elders calling them silly not another kit. (They were a little startled when the other kit unexpectedly jumped) What's it look like?, moonkit repeated in their head, uh... a green floppy stick?,. "um...a green...," they started saying (not in their head this time) but they decided, mid sentence, not to say 'floppy stick' out loud, that would sound dumb, they thought.
