Beechpaw stomped off towards the Elder's Den. It wasn't fair. Why was he stuck with the BORING job while the warriors got to go out and hunt? He could hunt too, just as well as them, even without a warrior escort. He could definitely handle himself.

Specklemist walked into camp and put her catch on the freshkill pile, then went over to Gingerfrost. "I- finished my punishment," she mewed.

With a huff, the siamese cat made his way to the center of the clearing, tail tip flicking irritably. "Beastflame [ @ophelia ] and Batpaw [ @~WallyDarling~ ]." He called the Smallpines patrol forward. "Beastflame, I gave you plenty of time to complete your patrol and report back to me. Yet I never spoke to you, nor did I see you drop prey off at the pile." Beansprout narrowed his eye. "You were in charge of the patrol. Explain yourself."

The leader's gaze softened as he moved on to Batpaw. "You are not responsible for reports. However, if something like this happens again, you need to tell me or whoever issued your patrol."

With that, he paused, awaiting answers.

Specklemist was the first to report back. Gingerfrost was still a little irked that so few had reported back initially, and it seemed like Specklemist was the only one so far who's gone and reported back their punishment. Even so, the day wasn't over yet. Turning towards the feline, he gave a nod.
"Don't forget to report your patrol again. Dismissed."
Is all he said before turning away and waiting for the rest.

When it seemed that no one else would be showing up, Gingerfrost frowned. That wasn't good. It bothered him, frankly, seeing such little commitment to the clan from the warriors and even apprentices in it. At least, that's what it looked like to him.
"Berryflare, Antlerbeast, Hiddenpaw, Smokepaw!"
He called across the clearing, searching for the felines.
"How come each of you have yet to begin your punishment? Either give me an explanation or go do it now."

Another round of patrols meant another round of punishments. Truly, it was disappointing each time. Especially since he had to grovel to get these cats to complete their punishments in the first place. Hopefully, this round would go well, though hoping he barely did. Let's see how this will go.
"Wispwatcher, Nightmist! Neither of you reported back from your patrol to Sleepy Thicket. Go back there and make sure the area is thoroughly marked. Report back this time."

"Spirittail! You did not complete your hunting patrol; go back out, I don't care where, and bring me back three pieces of prey at least."

At this point Spirittail was just...tired, I mean exhausted could be the right word for how he was feeling.

He just didn't even care. The tom didn't care about patrols, the clan, non of that. he was just feeling miserable and didn't even bother to sulk or plead for forgiveness, he was feeling low and lifeless; it was like all his enthusiasm and passion just fading

Nonetheless, The spirit-tailed tabby went do to his punishment as he was told.

Evidently, Gingerfrost wasn't particularly happy about having to send out punishments again; in an ideal world, everyone would complete their patrols on time and never forget to report back. Alas, they didn't live in that ideal world, and there was a certain something that had him particularly irked this round.
"Troutstone, Talonpaw! Mind explaining why you never reported back? Either give me a good reason or go do your punishment.

Troutstone [ @RedLeif ], you're to return to Sedgewater Valley and thoroughly mark it. Don't forget to report back this time."

He hadn't seen Darklight and Silverscale in some time, no point in punishing those who weren't even there.

"Smokepaw, Otterslash... And Beanstar. I am not amused."
He looked to the leader at that comment before addressing the whole group again.
"The same goes for you; either explain why you never reported back or take responsibility and complete your punishments.

Otterslash [ @Neso ], you're to go back out and bring back at least one piece of prey.
Beanstar [ @vellichor ], you are to go back out as well and bring back two pieces of prey at least.
I don't care where either of you go, or if you do it together, just get it done."
