Cloudheart smiled even though he was thinking, What in StarClan's name is wrong with me? I keep saying all this... weird stuff. Stuff that I only say to my family. And then a thought struck him. What if I want her to be a part of my family? Cloudheart shook his head again, but the little voices in his mind still remained...

Scorchstrike hummed in thought. What should they do? "Let's practice your tracking skills. What do you smell?" It was newleaf, so there should be a good amount of prey in this area. It wouldn't be too hard to find something eventually. @Stormpoppy

Luminous amber orbs focused solo on the small furred creature standing on its back legs. The way its nose twitched reminded her of a certain bunny, the leader should have clawed it off. Discarding the thought, she lowered herself just a bit closer to the pine-scented floor waiting perfectly still in the shadows, as it turned its back on her nibbled on a blade of grass. Just as Dawnstar was about to pounce, a loud sound sliced the air, making her hiss and freeze. It was followed by the loudest shrillest barking she's ever heard. The fat hare she had been tracking forever, was gone.

The huge she-cat watched them come in like an entire pack, they were chasing a raccoon as it darted past her hiding place. There had to be at least ten of them, it was difficult for her to say if there were more or less. They swarmed the area like ants, barking and yipping she'd be shocked if StarClan hadn't heard them. At the back of the pack was this insanity, short-legged, long-eared mutt, just lumbering around like a badger.

As the small yapping menaces barked and sniffed everything in sight, Dawnstar used the distraction to slip unnoticed in the nearby undergrowth. As bold as she was, she wasn't stupid, there were too many mouths and teeth for her to fend off by herself. The leader sunk lower in the tall grass as one of the mutts brought its ugly mug far too close to her hiding spot. Dawnstar bunched her thick muscles underneath her pelt up and curled a lip as she waited for the mutt to inch itself closer.

It seemed like most of them were pretty small, she was half certain that she'd be able to take kill a few of them. A low growl rumbled in the back of her throat, the small beast paused, though before anything could actually happen, Dawnstar heard some twoleg yowl. Just as they arrived, they all left loud and fast, except for the Longears, that one kind of hobbled along behind the rest. She waited for a few heartbeats before pushing out of overgrown grass and shaking out her fur.

She wrinkled her nose at the disgusting odor that lingered in the air. Pawprints all over the place and... that better not be what she thought it was. Dawnstar wandered over to sniff at the tuffs of fur on the ground, her tail swung so fiercely behind her as she lifted her head. Her hare! They got her hare! Did they have any idea how long she's been hunting that?! Her eyes trailed after the drag mark that led further toward the outskirts of her territory. They were hunting ShadowClan prey!!!

This would need to be dealt with immediately. Besides the fact that she was now stuck hiding like a freaking bunny in her own territory, Dawnstar had no faith whatsoever in her softhearted clan. Such a ruckus would literally scare away every since prey within the forest, not to mention they were stealing prey from her, and Dawnstar was concerned about what they'd do to her clan. That pack and whichever twoleg was stupid enough to bring them here, needed to be chased out immediately.
