Jax pricked his ears suddenly. He heard the den opening click, the sound of twoleg voices, both old and young entering the den, lights flicking on. Jax hid underneath a sofa, panting. I hope they don't find me..

Lacy heard them come in, but she ignored it. Her two-leg padded in and picked up her whole bed with her in it. He walked into his bedroom and placed her in a cage. The she-cat didn't pay any attention until the two-leg put that medicine stuff in her mouth. She tried to spit it out, but swallowed.

Jax's heart beat fast as he watched Lacy's teoleg pivk her bed up. He woulf be in danger if he stayed here, he tried to creep away, but got intercepted by one of the twoleg kits. His eyes widened.

The larger two-leg hadn't realized that the other cat was there. He yelled out unknown words to the two-legs for them to be quiet. He looked into the bedroom where Lacy was still sleeping.
