She looked at Mistyfang then back at the others. ”That sounds good,” she mewed in agreement. “We can meet back at sunhigh.” she turned around, flicking her bobtail. (We can split into 2 separate roleplays then eventually meet back up again.)

Mistyfang followed her. Once, he thought he smelled something, but it was just a trick of the wind. He sighed, but didn’t give up hope. With the whole clan helping, we’re sure to at least have a decent amount of prey. He padded up to Duskfern, brushing his fur against hers. ”Are you getting anything?” he asked with loving eyes.

Mistyfang followed her. Once, he thought he smelled something, but it was just a trick of the wind. He sighed, but didn’t give up hope. ”No,” she sighed as she picked up a scent. Her ears perked up. “Spoke too soon!” the multicolored shecat crouched down and tracked the scent. It was coming from her right, about 2 and a half fox lengths away. She turned and stalked it. Soon enough, she got so close she could see it. A vole. Finally, she pounced. Her feet shivered and she landed in front of the vole. “We can’t afford to lose this,” she hissed under her breath. Before it could get away, she clumsily stretched out her claws and hooked the vole, killing it. She dragged it in her direction. She got up with the vole in her jaws. Seeing as Mistyfang was staring at her, she mewed in embarrassment, ”You saw nothing.” she dug out a tiny hole with her paws, and buried the vole, pushing dirt over it. Padding to Mistyfang’ side again, she smelled the air once more for any prey in the cold environment.

The grey-ish blue eyed she-cat would walk towards Nightshadow, Mistheart would walk along side her. Mistheart was determined to find something for the clan, even if it was the tiniest mouse. Mistheart still hasn’t picked up any scents. She would look towards Nightshadow “Smell anything?” she would ask Nightshadow “because I don’t..”

Nightshadow nodded only at Duskfern then padded away to the right with Mistheart. She didn't dare look back at them two. She padded ahead of Mistheart after she buried the mouse she caught. I have to find more prey, she thought. After a while she caught another mouse and she buried that one also. She looked over at Misthert, "I'll let you catch the next one," she mewed, sorry for not letting Mistheart catch her mouse.

They entered an area with less pine trees, letting the light in the shadowy woods. Mistyfang looked up to the sky, seeing a pale sun. ”Sun’s coming up.” he said, still observing. “Who knows, maybe some prey will come out now.” He was right. After walking a bit more, he scented a trace of lizard. He went over to the log it was on, sneaking up behind it, but it noticed him and quickly scampered Duskfern’s way instead.

Nightshadow scented the air and scented vole. She saw a vole next to the bottom of a tree half covered with leaves. "Hey, Mistheart," she mewed quietly. "There's a vole over there," she pointed with her tail-tip to the bottom of a tree. "You can get it, I've already caught two mice." Nodding toward Mistheart, Nightshadow backed up to let her get a good chance in getting the vole.
