Singenight listened intently, not caring as much about the missing cat as he was the names. "Nice to meet you Woodpecker, m name is Singenight, leader of Windclan." He said, his voice ringing back to him from a slight echo in the cave. Woodpecker and Jasmine didn't sound too much like a Clan name, Woodpecker maybe, but Jasper was definitely not one. He decided to role with the first. "You're not from the Clans are you, Woodpecker?" He asked wth a change of topic.

The kit shook her head, "I-I'm actually from the Dusk Syndicate, but I escaped, I didn't like it there. Red and Navy tried to get me back but I didn't want to! I don't want to live a life where violence is the only answer to everything!" Her claws unsheathed thinking of her memories in the DS, flinching at remembering being forced to kill innocent kits by her father. "I became a loner. I hated the syndicate!" She screamed, "They forced me to kill innocent kits and kittypets, and I refused, my brother attacked me! Then he and my father almost killed eachother!" Tears poured down her face remembering Red and Navy's arguement.

"Is anyone alright right now?" Flarerunner whispered back as an answer. She watched Mountainclaw run out the camp entrance. "I had the same idea as him, just maybe not as loud of an exit..." Singenight looked on with an expressionless view. He didn't feel much sympathy for the little cat. "What makes you think you'll like it better here?" he asked. "In the Clans, there will still be war, battles, skirmish's and fights. You won't be escaping much of you previous life. You are aware of this, correct?" He asked looking sternly into the cats eyes.

Settling down into one of the nests quietly, Sorrelskip's multicolored tail wrapped around the rest of her body comfortably, with the molly letting out a small sigh as she glanced around the nursery awkwardly, not liking having to be confined to this small den during the last few days of her pregnancy, having to rest herself for the sake of her and Singenight's kits. Fumbling her paws around in a bored manner, she'd been here for days now, and the surroundings were terribly uninteresting, something that scared her to no extent. The idea of being so terrified of boredom and the feeling of doing nothing to entertain herself, it was one of the worst feelings in the world for the younger queen. It wasn't as if she disliked her kits, but she hated having to wait for them, the pain of sitting down and doing nothing as she knew that someday, she'd be able to escape this hell which was Windclan's nursery. It was fun at first, being here, but she could barely handle being alone in there now- it was almost unbearable. Heaving another sigh, her bright green eyes watched the others around her quietly, until a rush of pain flooded into her body, her gaze widening with hurt. "Singe!" She shrieked, closing her eyes as another wave of aches hit her flank. The kits are coming.

Singenight had returned from dealing with the intruders there. As he walked into camp his paws had led him to the fresh kill pile. He stooped mid stride from Sorrelskip's cry. His eyes flew wide and he immediately rushed to his mate. He ducked into the nursery and cautiously, but quickly, wove around the nests to Sorrelskip's side. His pale gaze raked over her frame, seeing a few convulsions under her fur. He stooped down and licked her gently on the forehead. "I's going to be alright Sorr." He purred comfortingly. After his long day, the leader had assumed that he wouldn't get to spend much time with her since she had to stay in the nursery. But obviously he would be spending plenty of time with her. "What do you need?" He asked trying to remain calm, even though he had absolutely no clue what he was doing, a feeling the Savannah did not enjoy.

He grew up being suspicious of everyone and even attacking queens, no one wanted to be friends with that; except Heartkit. She must have bees in her brain. He decided with an amused smirk as he analyzed a leaf that had been burnt in the fire. He pushed his pad onto the withered leaf: it was cold. The second he lifted his paw it fell into pieces. His tail twitched with interest at how the plant reacted to him. "This is probably the only time I've ever been interested in plants." He mumbled to himself. "It smells like smoke everywhere?" Rainkit spun around to face her, "Is it fresh?" He noticed something flash in her gaze. She must be remembering the fire. He placed his tail on her shoulder, "It should be far away from the camp by now." He soothed quite awkwardly. He blinked, "Well sure I do." He sat down while his tail slithered away from her and placed neatly over his paws. "I mean... The flames were scary." He shrugged, slightly confused.

Heartkit looked a little puzzled at Rainkit's hesitation to answer her question. Her tail twitched a little, and she looked a little confused and frustrated before she shrugged. She guessed that Rainkit probably hadn't ever really had a best friend before- or a friend at all. "Oh, um...great. Thanks." She mewed, sounding as unsure as Rainkit himself had a moment before. "N-no, not that I can tell...it smells pretty old. Not as strong or as- as dangerous as it did before." Heartkit analyzed, realizing that the scent seemed a little stale and strange, not to mention quite as dangerous as it had the previous time she had scented it. "O-oh. Yeah...I mean I hope it's out by now...I really hope that it's gone by now...maybe it's- maybe it's out. Who would do that, anyway? Who would purposely try to kill another Clan like that?" Heartkit asked, her expression terrified. The excitement of adventure worn off, all she could remember from scenting the smoke was the sight of the flames, the sounds of panicked cats, the expressions on their faces as they realized they either wouldn't be able to get out, and the realization that the Camp would most likely never be the same. If it would, she would probably either be an apprentice or warrior by the time it happened. She glanced over at Rainkit, her terror obvious in her blue hues now.

"Of course I am!" she snapped, "I'm fine with fighting, but what I'll like about the clans is that I dont have to wake up at Dusk and kill innocent cats for the heck of it! If I come here, I can start as an apprentice, and become a warrior!" I smile grew on her face.

Lilacleaf's ears fell. "I, uh.. I'm not so sure about that, considering Thunderclan would probably be the only clan to help us, and they got hit by the fire first," she said, lacking her usual spirited attitude. She then cheered herself up, or at least seemed to, and kept walking. "Come on, I think I smell something," she said happily.
