If you asked Spiritpaw, the other apprentices were all bores. Bo-ring. There were like three good ones. Ratpaw and Hollowpaw and, uh, probably someone else. Ratpaw had some friends, so those guys were probably good or something. Regardless, she was sitting in her nest, glaring at a wall, wondering when someone fun would come around. Like, where was bestie Moordog? Or Shadetail- he had been fun to annoy. Where was everyone fun. The arrival of someone new had her turning around to stare at them. The new guy! Darkflame or something! "What if I do mind?" She didn't of course. This was one of the big cats, and if the big cats wanted to sit next to her, that meant she was cool.
The black molly stuck her head through the entrance to the apprentice's den. She wanted to see if she could find Eggpaw to take him out for some training. "Eggpaw? You here?" She called out, hoping that he was in here.

Eggpaw was dreaming. Kind of. He was still half asleep, not fully awake. What he was dreaming of, he was unsure because it fled from his mind the moment he heard Spiderheart. His eyes were wide and fresh, not sleepy like most mornings. "No, I'm at the freshkill pile," he called cheerily. It took a moment to make his limbs work again, but then he was up and next to his mentor.

Spiderheart
She chuckled at the sarcastic comment from her apprentice, and he seemed excited to go out for some training. She was glad to see the enthusiasm from the paw. Spiderheart herself was feeling pretty good today, so hopefully they'd have a nice training session. "Alright then" She smiled to Eggpaw. "Follow me" The molly added, flicking her tail.
(I'll continue this in the training area)

The she-cat huffed as the apprentice sassed her, resisting the urge to hiss. She had to make friends if she wanted to succeed. "To bad for you then. You can move or make do," Blackfire said as she circled her nest a couple of times before laying down.
"So, have you lived in ShadowClan for your entire life?"
