Poppy's Daze yawned as she sorted her herbs. Low on catmint, marigold is plentiful, she relayed in her mind. Gazing off into the distance, she began to think of her brother. Strong and handsome, it's a shame he couldn't be in the same clan as her. He always protected her when they were kits, and they always played together. The bond that was once there, was broken by this awful system of clans. Spitefully, she slammed a daisy leaf down a little too hard. Cursing to herself, she threw the leaf out.

Fire's Smoke trotted out of the warrior's den, and blinked several times to adjust his eyes to the sunlight. The large tom gaped his jaws in a yawn and looked around for someone to chat with.
