The medicine cat stood in her den, sorting through herbs with several thoughts on her mind. A cat was killed. Tensions were high. War was a possibility if it kept happening. Shuddering, Brackenleaf finished the job and exited her den, taking a breath of fresh air. Perhaps everything would resolve itself?

The warriors claws sunk into the ground as she growled. One of her Clanmates was killed! Her eyes focused on her paws as she sat in the clearing, her ears pinned back. What were IceClan doing?! They'd killed a warrior from her Clan! She'd get revenge, one way or another, that was for sure.

Gingerswirl padded up to Eveningblaze, worried for her. "Eveningblaze, are you okay? Do you mind hunting with me? I don't think it's a good idea to go out into the territory, since Crowfeather..."

Blackstar paced back and forth from his den. Stoneshade dead on the border... is Fireclan becoming aggressive? Was this Stormstar's order...? He hadn't gotten any sleep the night before as he tried to think things through. The Clan is looking to me for help... what good is that if I can't help them? Tired of pacing, he sat down, mumbling to himself about what could have happened.

Gingerswirl padded into the clearing. The scent of fear was rampant, after the apparent murder of one of the most respected warriors in Fireclan, Crowfeather. I wonder what Stormstar has to say... but I can't worry about that now. The fresh-kill pile is looking awfully low... going alone might be a bad idea. She glanced around, searching for another cat to hunt with.

Mudpaw looked at her mentor/Leader. How could that happen. Stoneshade was so nice. Why was fireclan so mean..? Tears began to form in her eyes as she looked at the ground.

Robinwisp gasped. Why had just heard about the news. Crowfeather? Why him? What would Stormstar say? She sighed and looked around-she wanted to get this off of her head.


Darkwing was ferious. Who had killed Crowfeather? And on the same night that he-wait no. He must not think about that. His tail lashed from side to side.

Blackstar saw his apprentice watching him, and her head hang low. I have to think of something. For all the cats like Mudpaw. He looked away, searching for Jaystrike. His deputy might have some ideas. {@River of roses}

Eveningblaze stood, figuring this would get her mind off things. "Good plan, it's probably not safe with IceClan. We don't know who they'll kill next" she growled with a nod. "I'll go." She added. Her mind was still on her deceased Clanmate, but this would pass the time.

Leafwish didn't turn around at the sound of Lizardpaw's voice. "Yes, I'm up." She replied, not turning her gaze from the herbs in front of her.

Mudpaw began to get something to eat. Only to see there wasn't that many pieces left. Leave them for the elders and mothers and their kits. she bought as she turned away her belly yowling as she went into the apprentices den.

Eveningblaze nodded, not wanting to stray towards the boarders herself even with Gingerswirl. "Right" she mewed, nodding. "Let's go" she walked towards the entrance, her tail swaying as she waited for Gingerswirl.

Stormstar padded out of his den and sighed looking at his clan, it had been rough these past few days. The tensions were higher than ever with two of the most respected warriors dying, but for Stormstar it was harder, Crowfeather had been his best friend but he knew he couldn't let the clan see he was grieving. (Pm which warrior doesn't have an apprentice and which apprentice needs a mentor.)

Ant looked back at his twoleg fence and sighed before running deeper into the forest,"I'm gonna go deeper than ever today!"He yelled running faster then he ever thought his little legs could go. Even though he had become tired really quickly from being so plump he didn't stop running knowing that if he wanted to become a forest cat he had to be quick, smart, strong and able to run.
