Willowkit smiled at the caught beetle, before smiling. one bug down! she then crouched, and went after another area, hoping to catch something, while being near the area.

Bugpaw was a little late, but there was no way he'd miss this opportunity to catch things he caught on a regular basis. The apprentice ran after some random bug. He was so blind by excitement he couldn't tell what it was. He was so excited he felt like he was going to explode.

She looked around, searching for a bug to catch. She suddenly spotted one, it was a butterfly! She dropped into the hunter's crouch and snuck up on the small bug. It was perched on a flower and looked like it was about to fly of. Now or never! She pounced squarley on the butterfly, squashing the creature under her paw. She did it! Now where to find that sneaky golden bee...

A golden bee tumbled out of the grass, struggling to get upright. Copperfire, surprised by its unique coloration, gently placed a paw on its head, hoping to avoid its stinger. After inspecting it further, he threw a quick glance around, before cheering quietly. How lucky! He couldn't keep the small smile off his face. Maybe he could find another one nearby.

Rufflekit quickly pounced on a butterfly as he saw it, grinning as he threw his head back. Tawnypaw and Rainhound were still trying... nevermind! Rainhound caught something too. Rufflekit bounded over, nose wrinkling in disgust as he looked at the animal between her paws. "A centipede? Seriously?" Rainhound's whiskers twitched in amusement. Soon, Tawnypaw came bounding over. "Look!! A firefly!" The trio was happy with their catches, and continued scouting the forest for crawlies.

Hawkice was looking around the air and leapt up and caught a Firefly! He excitedly brought it down, before looking for more bugs. This was amusing.

Fiercefire was sniffing around the ground and to his dismay, found a Centipede. He growled. So much for his luck. Turning to Lynxpaw though, he saw his son was doing much better.

Nectarinekit shrieked with glee as bugs flew up into the air. Soft kitten paws began batting at the skies, hoping to collide with one of the flying jewels. It seemed his luck was good today, as his paw gently pulled a butterfly to the ground. It was so pretty! Its speckles looked just like his! Wait, did that mean he was pretty too? The little tom giggled, pleased with his conclusion, as he leapt into the air to catch another bug.

Dimhazel started their search under logs and rocks, looking for some of the bigger creepy crawlies. They tried to disturb them as little as possible, keeping their movements slow and calculated. There were plenty of bugs, but they either skittered away before they could reach for them or they were so small they worried about squishing them if they tried.
Eventually they found a rather nice looking beetle, and picked it up before it could escape them. Their whispers twitched as they let it crawl on their leg for a bit.
"OK, time to go back home now."
But when they tried to scrape the bettle back into the ground, it crawled onto the new limb and clung to them.
"Or you can come along with me, I don't mind. Be careful not to get squished."
Rather than responding, the beetle climbed up to their should her disappeared from their sight. At least it wasn't as likely to get crushed on their back.
New little buddy still with them, Dimhazel trotted to find more bugs.
