Creekrunner laughed in the other tom’s face as he accused Riverclan of being know-it-alls. His opponent’s blow caught him, but only glancingly as Creekrunner pulled quickly away- his side still burned, though . “We don’t know everything,” he taunted with a flick of his tail, “but we know more than to got to war for Icebrain’s ego. Didn’t she kill one of your own in the middle of the clearing?” The silver blue tom lunged and ducked just before the other tom, thrusting his head up at the last second in an effort to send his opponent sprawling.

Flintfreckle didn’t respond. He flicked his tail tip instead, gaze even as he did so, practically daring the other warrior to charge. When he did, he tried to side-step, but the blow still caught his shoulder and made him stumble and clench his jaws. While the tom landed, Flintfreckle went to swipe his front paws from out under him and shove him so his belly would be exposed, then finally answered. “Your one to talk about ego.” He laughed, eyes glinting with a flame that he was trying to keep contained. “Lionstar is no better than a fox! He thinks he’s so great coming here to ‘save the day.” He scoffed. And he thinks I’m brainwashed. Dumb RiverClan fleabags. He thought, wanting to shake his head but keeping his eyes slitted, trained on his opponent as he tried to go for his stomach.

Lo and behold, his searching proved fruitful as he caught sight of... Poppytwist? Wasn't she one on the new apprentice's mentor? Racing over, Pebblepaw let out a caterwaul, attempting to barrel himself into either one of them.

Whiskernose ripped his head away from her, yanking the claws free from his ear. Pain tinging his snarl, he used his full body to slam into the warrior.
Burnetsnap was beat as is and wasn't risking losing him. He let a chuff of surprise as a smaller body slammed into him, knocking him off balance. "Wha-"

Shimmeringpool gave a grateful look at Brambleblaze before a foot filled her vision. Flying back the molly was dazed for a bit before the anger turned into an entire wildfire of fury. Wobbling up the warrior took the opportunity to attack the warrior with each of her strong blows while her clanmate went for his eyes.
"HOW DARE YOU ATTACK TWO APPRENTICE AND NOT SOMEONE YOUR SIZE!" Her usual calm and gentle persona was gone as Sootpaw and Goosepaw's life were on her mind.

Creekwind watched as the battle unfolded in front of her. She looked for anyone who needed help. She saw through her one sapphire eye Falcondive dealing with a fish-breath mangle. Running to his side the molly pushed the Riverclanner off of the tom.

Burnetsnap gave an appreciative glance towards Whiskernose—he had just barely avoided those flailing hind legs. No moment to rest, however, as out of the corner of his eye he spotted another RiverClanner lunging into the fray. He dodged fast enough to avoid the blow, but winced when he saw the newcomer slam into Whiskernose instead.

Growling, Burnetsnap crouched low and skirted around to the back of the newcomer, aiming a swipe at his back legs.

Yowling in pain at the claws down her back, tears were bubbling at the corner of her eyes. Hissing, she watched shimmeringpool attack, only to raise up to her paws with her strength and rolled down on to her back hoping to crush this....monster!

As young as the tom was, Cobaltshade would have to admit that the tom was a bit heavier than she was expecting. He hardly budged when she gave a sharp yank to his tail, she'd have to recalculate with a different approach. And because her plan didn't go as expected, she got the nasty surprise of claws raking across her muzzle. Nothing deep, likely not even enough to scar her, but it caused her to immediately let go off Falcondive's tail, hindlegs propelling her backwards.
Some cats enjoyed hurling insults in battle, yelling, cussing, talking to their opponent. She was not one of those cats. She fought silently until either she won, or was forced to back off.

Small droplets of blood fell from her lightly clawed muzzle as she went about circling her opponent, examining him closely for weak points. Seeing as how he was a sturdy tom, he would likely be a slower opponent. Stunning him probably wouldn't work too well, so instead she'd wear him down. Small, quick jabs, jumping just out of reach, circling, circling, confusing. That's the tactic she would use.

Continuing to circle, one, twice, the blue-gray molly silently lunged forward halfway during the third circle, aiming for a quick, hard jab to his shoulder, jumping away seconds later, giving very little opportunity to strike her as she went in for her quick jab.

Bloodtooth's eyes were filling with tears as Shimmeringpool struck him, but he did nothing as he waited for the blows to stop. When they finally did, he felt a small body try to crush him. He let out a snort of laughter and rolled-over, hoping to knock off the apprentice and potentially crush it.

Creekleap hissed, speeding away from Falcondive's attack, and she whipped around and slashed at Creekwinds face, using her other paw to advance on raking her side. "Frog-breath! we knew it was only a matter of time before you foolishly attacked us!" She hoped her words were words of wisdom, at this rate she didn't know if this was right or wrong. I hate battles, no matter what you're the bad guy.. Lionstar, I hope you know what you are doing. @Shimm @BILL. @Wings

Creekwind distracting Creekleap gave Falcondive an advantage, and while she was focused on attacking his Clan-mate he reared up on his legs and brought his paws crashing down at Creekleap's head. "I wish we had attacked you, you stupid she-cat."
