Corliss stood at the back, as per usual, holding her carry on bag over her shoulder. She was practically buzzing with excitement, as was most people here. She couldn't believe her luck when she'd first got the letter, she could have screamed! Well, she did, but that's not important. This was going to be an amazing trip, she could feel it, goose bumps popped all over her skin. Or maybe that was just the airport's AC. Nonetheless, Cori was probably an expert on marine life at this point, considering her age. She would love nothing more than to get away from her hometown and finally study some animals worth studying.

Rocking back and forth on her feet, she looked at the kids around her. They all seemed pretty nice, really. There was nothing to worry about. When was the plane getting here? Would they crash? What if they didn't make it? Was this the wrong plane? Okay, pump the brakes, you're gonna be fine. Cori took a few deep breaths, easing her anxiety. Everything would be fine, they always were, this was going to be an amazing trip, and she didn't want to ruin it by over thinking and she hadn't even left the airport yet.

Harper gripped her bag tighter, doing a panoramic scan of the students she traveled with. Maybe it would be best if she went and said hi? She looked down at her feet. Usually, she was not a shy person: at all. But now, it wasn't either too much exitment or too much nervousness taking over. Silently, she walked closer to the opening gate, wishing everything could just Board already, then she'd Ake the long flight there. But once she was there, well, she would probably die of exitmebt of this once-in a lifetime opportunity.

Valeria smiled, looking at her surroundings. She was ecstatic that she had the chance to study at the Baja peninsula, and couldn't wait. (No ideasssss)

(idk what to write I'm sorry) Harper tilted her head at the sight of another tidbit that seemed close to her. Confidently, with long strides, she walked over to the other student, calmly as she could and trying to mask up the excitment in her voice she did a small wave, "You exited for this?" She gave a small, awkward smile to the other girl.

Harper shifted her foot a little bit, leaning with her hip out in a relaxed way. She gave the other girl a small smile, "oh! By the way, in Harper." "I'm Valeria. Don't worry, I'm also so excited I could scream. To study at the Academy of the Baja Peninsula, that's just a once in a lifetime experience!" Valeria paused, smiling and taking a deep breath. She didn't want to scare the other girl with her enthusiasm.

Harper didn't know how much she could relate. It was exactly the same, "ugh. I wish all of us could just get there already! There's so much to do!" She looked out the window, imagining the concrete circles were rolling aqua waves and tan particles of sand.

"I know. What are you planning to do once you graduate?" Valeria smiled and followed Harper's gaze, absently staring at the concrete.
