Spicy nodded," Yeah...She's jumpy I guess...I think she's scared of everyone. I saw her as a trainee jump out of her fur when a kit came in and clearly sounded like a kit, I'm amazed she lived 1 moon a fighter..." he meowed.

He shook his head," Sorry. Got off topic. This is a poppyseed. It makes a cat sleep. It's good for when they are in serious pain, never give them to a queen kitting, also no more than two per cat and only one for a kit." He grumbled.

Ears perking up as Shadow moved on to show him the next herb, one she seemed to be more hesitant of showing him, he couldn't help but move in closer due to his curiosity, his eyes widening and trying to peer at whatever was wrapped up in the leaf. Hearing what it was, Icarius couldn't help but feel a shiver run down his spine, his eyes moving to look at his mentor's face, gulping a bit and looking back at the berries. A berry that can kill a cat. Other cat's lives really are in my paws if I have access to these,
aren't they? His mind thought dully, his ears still perked up to listen to Shadow. "I understand." He said in a not so excited tone, his gaze fixating on her face again as he nodded. If there was anything that Icarius would remember, it would be those berries. The young tom's gaze then looked to the berries as they were carefully pushed away from the other herbs before he was right back to paying attention to the she-cat, the tip of his tail twitching before curling over his paws. Part of him wanted to wash his paws with the moss too, even though he hadn't even touched the berries, but he knew it would look stupid, or maybe even make him look paranoid, so he refrained from doing so.
"I'm really, really ready! Like, you don't even know how ready I am, that's how ready I am!" There it was, his excitement and eagerness to learn flaring right back up again. But the idea of the death berries was still stuck in his head. And surely would be for a long time.
