Beaverbounce, being a stockier cat, didn't go down very easily, Basilpaw's attempt at pushing him down instead just ending up with her falling on top of his back. Taking the opportunity, Beaverbounce dropped and rolled over, hoping to dislodge the she-cat from his back and maybe stun her a bit so he could pin her down.
Basilpaw tried to push herself off Beaverbounce as he was rolling, hoping to get off him before he crushed every bone in her body.

"That makes sense. Or if they had any territory, they maybe did patrols like we do now?" She said politely.
Moondapple shrugged. She had forgotten most things about the Dusk Syndicate that didn't have to do directly with her. "Yeah sure, probably something like that." She meowed while licking a paw and swiping it over her silver specked muzzle.
What was next? Did she already mention the healers? The elder had forgot if she had. "Did I say anything about healers?" She asked to confirm if she did or not.
After explaining the ranks, what could she tell Specklekit? She tried to conjure up a memory from her younger moons, though she couldn't think of anything really that interesting. Most of that spanned from when she was basically a kit all the way to joining WindClan. I guess I could tell her how I was blinded. She decided.
What do kits even do? That was a question she sometimes asked herself. Usually she would see other kits playing but, her mother would keep her from doing that. "Um.. p-play?"
Gullpaw gave a happy nod,” Yeah sure. What game do you want to play, Windkit?” she asked.

Rosepaw shrugged. “Well, Outsiders don’t belong in WindClan, polluting us with their impure blood, so I guess not. Maybe there’s some pity, though, if you were lonely.” She looked at the kit pointedly. “Just don’t touch me. But I’ll be nice to you. Avoid her, over there.” She gestured with a flick of her tail at Twistedpaw. “You might get her disease and become even worse.”
Should she risk it? But Twistedpaw felt so bad for the kit! Looking up, shrugging so that her shoulder snapped her jaw into a less disturbing position, she looked at the two of them. “Stop, Rosepaw,” she muttered tiredly. Her voice also sounded a bit sad. “You’re... hurting the kit.”
Oh. Thornkit mewed, sad. Bye then. with that, she stumbled out into the clearing. No one liked her. She wasn't supposed to be here, and she would mess up the clan. Trudging back to the nursery, she had never felt this sad, except when her mother died. @TheNyanCatMinecart

Gullpaw gave a nod,” Sure!” she chirped. She was gonna let Scrapkit win, this kit needed the emotional boost of winning a race,” On your mark...get set...Go” she meowed before starting to run, making sure to go slow enough that Scrapkit could beat her.

Getting beside Gullpaw, Scrapkit had determination on her face. This was one thing she could do right.. right?
Shooting off, she ran a bit ahead of Gullpaw, her smaller frame propelling her forward, she quickly raced over to the fresh kill pile. Beating her new friend at the race, she turned around. A huge smile on her face. She had never felt this happy in her life! Ever!
