Minnowstream lay in the nursery on her side. Although she knew the kitting wouldn't be easy, she hadn't expected it to draw on so long and exhaust her this much. Light pants escaped her, and she dragged her head up to look at the tiny bundles of fur that made it all worth it. Four tiny kits lay at her side, all healthy.

"They're perfect," Minnowstream murmured, eyes glowing with affection. Already she could feel the strong, never ending love of a mother. She leaned down to give each kit a lick on the head, nudging one closer to her stomach. "We need to name them," the molly meowed up to her mate. Glancing at the tom by her side, she couldn't stop smiling. "Toothless, they look just like us."

The tiny black kitten squirmed around in the mass of her other siblings. Little did she know, her mother, Minnowstream, and her father, Toothless, were currently naming the newborn kittens. She opened her mouth into a yawn and let out a high-pitched mew. She began to smell the silky scent of milk. The tiny black molly let out another mew before dragging herself to her mother, and began suckling.

Smokekit yawned in the nursery," I'm so tired I want to sleep, but the nursery is so noisy and I can't sleep." she realized how much she wanted sleep.

"Well, Saltkit, from what I felt, you need to go to the med den. And how did you manage to get that cut?!" Ripplekit asked scoldingly. "Did you sneak out? You've better of not!"

Toothless purred and licked the top of his mates head "see, I told you, they're all healthy, alive, and feeding. They look absolutley wonderful." He purred happily, his green orbs danced with pride as he looked down at his kits. He spotted a silver kit and smiled "Her pelt looks lioe it has raindrops in it, lets name her rainkit." He purred, nudging the kit closer to her mothers stomach. The black warrior looked next to rainkit and twiched his wiskers " Hm...and how about we name her Alurekit, she's got her mothers looks, and her fathers color." He laughed, looking back up atp minnowstream, love and affection wavering in his green orbs. "Okay, I named two, now you gotta name two." He stated matter of factly, shivering slightly as a stick poked his back when he shifted.

Rainkit nuged closer to her mother happly.

Toothless looked lovingly at his family, and slightly wrinkled his nose when Minnowstream named one of them Runningkit "Yeah, that's a good name, Just hope she doesn't want me to go running with her, I'd much rather swim." he stated, turning and licking his mates head once more. "They're all so beautiful." he purred and wrapped his tail around his mate.

Minnowstream laughed lightly at her mate. "I don't think Swimmingkit would sound quite as good. Besides, you'd run with her if she asked. I can already tell you're going to spoil these little ones." She glanced back down at their kits, a large purr rumbling from her as she rubbed her cheek against Toothless's. "These kits will be loved and spoiled to no end," she murmured, thinking of the times to come. "We'll be one big, happy family." A fear of illness struck her as she thought of her own siblings, fallen ill and passing before apprenticehood. That won't happen to them... I won't let it happen. She thought firmly as she watched them eat and sleep. They're just so tiny!

Tricklekit squeaked, squirming against his siblings. The small silver and black furred tom's eyes were closed tight and he struggled, trying to find a place to suckle. He mewled, squirming and trying to find the best place he could. The newborn tom-kit flipped over on to his back by accident, wailing helplessly as he tried without success or get back on to his belly. His fur was just kit fluff, and he shivered slightly in the freezing air, attempting to snuggle closer to the warm body of his mother, yet he couldn't, as he was still stuck on his back.

GoldenCry gasped in pain, she felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Lightningstep bounded in, "Goldencry," he looked at her swollen belly (now I skipped an hour) @Aashka @Breezecloud @winter @Cedar, you can rp kits now

Sagekit twitched her tail, pressing closer to the nursing queen, her mother.
