Thunderglade

➢ As the three of them walked through the tall grass, it didn’t take very long for the patrol to reach the place known as the Thunderglade. The hefty maine coon didn’t know what to think of Leafheart, the tomcat who joined them just before they left the camp, but decided to just dismiss all the previous ill thoughts and focus on their task at paw now. Lotuswhisper sighed and glanced back at the warrior and apprentice, who were not too far behind. “Watch where you put your paws, Rabbitpaw,” The Windclan meowed in a gruff tone, “There are many rabbits who choose to burrow here at the start of newleaf. I’ve seen many young cats like yourself fall or trip because of the holes in the ground.” He didn’t think the young molly couldn’t handle herself, especially while only having three legs, but he wanted to warn her regardless to make sure she did not get hurt. The other tomcat warrior, Leafheart, should know such things by now, which is why he only warned young Rabbitpaw. With that, Lotuswhisper continued towards the borderline.

Peering around in front of him before he placed his paws, the burly maine coon parted his jaws and breathed in the familiar scents around him. The earthy smell of Windclan, the musky woodland smell of Thunderclan and… a stale hint of something else? Lotuswhisper glanced down one direction of the border and then down the opposite. Nothing really seemed out of place except for that smell. “Hmph.” The Windclan warrior huffed before turning his head to look back at his two patrolmates, “What do you two smell? Anything interesting?”

The molly walked alongside the warriors, allowing them to go ahead of her a bit. Sure she was almost ready to become a warrior she still thought it was respectful to let warriors go first. Plus they knew all the dangers. Rabbitpaw listened to Lotuswhisper. Okay so be careful of rabbit holes. She could do that easily. She sniffed the air, scenting a faint unfamiliar scent.

Rabbitpaw wrinkled her nose. This was not a good scent, but she was glad it was faded. Wait the scent was familiar to her. She didn't know the name of the creature, but she had seen it before. "I scent... Well I'm not sure of the name of it, but I've seen one before. The scent is one of those dog looking things. Their really aggressive, but its very faint luckily. ", she responded. Rabbitpaw turned to Leafheart to see if they caught scent of it.

leafheart looked around, was that sent what he thought it was... he slightly hopped it wasnt. luckily it was stale is that coyote? he asked though he knew the answer. he wanted to make sure.

➢ Listening to Rabbitpaw and then Leafheart, the dark-furred warrior nodded gently. “Yes, it’s a coyote.” He meowed, turning back to the borderline, “It must’ve come through here a few days ago, but it’s long gone now. Still, keep your eyes peeled for anything.” Lotuswhisper peered into the lush forest that made up their neighboring clan’s territory. Was the coyote off in that forest mayhaps? He didn’t know, but that wasn’t their problem. Both Shadowclan and Thunderclan cats were occupying that land now, so they had more than enough cats to deal with it. Such a though seemed heartless, but that’s just how Lotuswhisper was towards the other clans -- especially Shadowclan. “Let’s quickly mark the border and then report back to Fallownose.” He announced to his patrolmates, “Leafheart, you head left and Rabbitpaw, you go right. Meet me back here in the middle when you’re done.” It felt strange to order cats around, but Lotuswhisper was made the leader of his border patrol and he would make sure it was done fast and accordingly. With that, he approached the borderline and started marking the area of Windclan scent. He would keep a close-eye on the young Rabbitpaw once he was done for obvious reasons.

She dipped her head when Lotuswhisper asked for her to go right to mark the border. Rabbitpaw didn't wait another moment before moving. She marked along as she went until she was completely finished. Once she was Rabbitpaw moved back over to the older warrior. "Okay. I think I got it.", she meowed.

[BEAR.]

There was a particular itch in his paws today, one that led him toward the border with WindClan. It wasn't a terribly significant urge - Jaystride wasn't quite in the mood to cause mischief with WindClan yet, but it was one that made him compelled to remark the two borders he hadn't been by in some time.

The markers weren't too stale. Still, he persisted with remarking it, leaving behind the strong reek of ThunderClan before he headed off toward Smallpines.

Ears perked the long-legged she-cat made her way towards the border her eyes darting around as she remained alert her feathery tail swaying as she trotted along her paw steps sure and confident.

After waiting a while for their their patrol leader the tom took it upon himself to just take the apprentice with him. Of course they'd wait a few more minutes out here to see they'll show up eventually, but if not he'd go on without them. "Nutwing says we wait few more minutes for Foxspring. If no show we move on.", he meowed. Nutwing didn't want to disappoint his clan. Nutwing didn't like when Thunderclan was mad, because no cat showed up to patrol.

(Headsup: When i roleplay him the grammar may be weird as I roleplay the way I see him and he's not the brightest nor does he act his age.)

Giving a nod to the tom, she glanced around, waiting for Foxspring to show. After a while, she finally padded up to Nutwing.
"L-let's j-j-just go. He c-can catch up," she said, giving her ear a flick. She wasn't particularly surprised, she'd learned to stop relying on others when those she was close to either disappeared or died. The only cat she thought she might be able to trust was her mentor and that was it.
Letting out a sigh, she began to make her way out of camp and towards the Thunderglade, pausing to look back at the tom accompanying her.

❥ Watching as his teammates were about to go on ahead, the older tom ran over to them at lightning speed. “Wait! I’m here too.” He swished his tail around a few times before it calmed. “My apologies.” He grumbled out. “I didn’t realize you two were already waiting.” He let out an awkward sigh at his own negligence. ‘Get your head out of the clouds, you old kook.’ He thought to himself, trying not to let this slip up get the best of him. “I’m ready to go.”
