Firehawk had finished up his visit to Fawnsqueak and Coralkit when he trotted into the nursery, waving his tail.

"Hello kits!" He chirped excitedly. "Fawnsqueak asked me to come in to check on you all.. there's a touch of the sniffles floating around and we'd like to make sure none of you have it!"

He crouched down to level himself, his bright eyes on the children. "Would any of you mind if I checked your breathing? It'll be quicker than a buzzing bee, and then I'll be out of your hairs so you can play!"

if you want your kit to be sick, their breathing will need to be wheezy/thick. please include this in your post or i will assume they're fine. all sick kits will be quarantined in the medicine cat den until they recover! ]

Stealthkit ran up to the blob of kits surrounding Firehawk, "Hi! Am I breathing okay?" she asked, taking a deep breath.

Sick? She thought Whitekit didn’t think about being sick but she had stayed up so.. late she wheezed a bit as she stepped forward to Fire-hawk Am I sick..? She asked drowsily I can’t be! But she almost fell over now what if I am? She thought. (My kit is in fact sick) @BILL.

~Fox-kit walked near fire-Hawk and got ready to go ~

Foggykit blinked open her eyes when Firehawk entered the den and the black and white kit stumbled upward. She yawned so hard that tears sprung to her eyes as she tried to move toward the tom. Of course, her wobbles impeded that process and Foggykit ended up falling head over paws out of the nest and onto the ground, painfully. These falls were starting to hurt more! When she finally regained her footing, Foggykit made slow progress toward Firehawk, feeling oddly groggy and stuffy. Eventually, she made it to Firehawk and sat down nearby to let him go through the other kits who were waiting before checking her breath and on the meantime tried to check her own. It seemed different- there was a crackly noise when she breathed out and it felt to her like she didn’t get enough air. Did that mean she was sick? Foggykit had no idea how she’d even gotten sick- she was fine yesterday with the shell collecting game!

"FAWN-GUYYYYYY?!" she squealed. "ISSSSS HE HEEEEEERE?!" Oh, he would be here! He loved her. So much. Wait, who was this-"Fire-guy!" she chirped. "HI!"

Almondkit stumbled doggedly on into the clearing, droopy yellow eyes searching the crush of cats in a frantic attempt to pick out her adoptive father - Bumblebelly - among the crowd. It wasn't coming too easily at the moment: her vision seemed unusually hazy, her foretoes trembling. And, to make matters worse, a throat-tightening cough would rack her entire little frame every now and again.

"B-Bumblebelly?" Almondkit called out, voice thick and rasping. "Firehawk? I don't feel too good at the moment..."

Reedkit had felt unusually drowsy that morning and he didn't like it one bit. He never felt this...weird. It was like something was off , and it wasn't a good thing most likely. Maybe he hadn't gotten enough sleep? Or the shell hunt just made him exhausted? Either way , he frowned and curled into his nest. When Firehawk had arrived , he listened curiously. The sniffles? Sickness? Am I sick? No , he couldn't be! He'd never gotten sick before! Shooting up from his place and scurrying over to the warrior , he pushed a few kits to the side with a scowl on his face. “Check my breathing , now” He said in a demanding tone. His breathing was a bit..off. It was a bit raspy , bone rattling sounding.
