Tbh I think Grey Wing getting his asthma created for some really really good development. And without his death we wouldn't have the clans as they are atm. But I do see where you're getting at, but I think this is one of the things that made him more easy to relate to. That even with an illness he was still doing well, despite the fact that his life was shortened. So I think this is what makes Grey Wing this unique cat he is.

Hmm, If Longtail was never blinded, he could have possibly become stayed a warrior until reallold age, like Mousefur. Probably would spend a lot of time looking at Fireheart/star and thinking he's come really far from the kittypet kit he attacked in camp.

Mosskit not dying. Bluestar wouldn't have been any more guilt ridden in her decision to give up her kits because she lead one to its death. She would have been able to watch them across the river and at gatherings as they grew up into respectable warriors and while her heart hurt for them, she doesn't regret it.

If Brambleclaw never became Firestar's deputy, but one of his daughters. A Leafpool who became a warrior named Leafheart maybe, or Leafshine and the Crowx Leaf relationship still happens, but they don't run away with each other, Leaf has her kits ad raises them, Jay still becomes MC, but Holly has a role as one of the three like she should have. Maybe Leaf steps down as deputy when their father is revealed but in the end Holly becomes the deputy after much soul searching on her part.

Why did Leopardfoot become mates with Pinestar? Pinestar was already leader when Leopardfoot was a kit, and they had Tigerclaw when she became Pinestar's mate.
