He shrugged, glancing down at his paws, "Not much, I was kinda just trying to figure out something to do."

Rushingmoor blinked at Coyotesnarl, unimpressed.

“Wow. That makes me have a whole lot of faith in you. Remind me to walk over to some other camp next time I get hurt.”

The striped tom’s voice was cold but not raised. He didn’t want to start a whole tiff during the meeting and aggravate Twilightstar further. She definitely had a right to be irritated with all of the disruptions- including the one from her deputy who’d appeared to revert back to apprenticeship for a moment- and the last thing he wanted was to get entwined in her anger for Coyotesnarl. Then again, it seemed he already had.

“Last I checked, the job description was healing anyone no matter what. Not holding your skills above your clanmates’ heads. You aren’t the first medicine cat, and you won’t be the last.”

The last part came out as a sigh, and Rushingmoof flicked his tail over his paws where he sat, not moving to get up. Plenty of cats seemed to think that if they made a show at a meeting and stood up and thrashed their tail and raised their voice they would be heard better. In Rushingmoor’s opinion, it didn’t serve to make them seem reliable. He’d rather simply disagree without raising his voice. Then again, he wasn’t personally insulted by Coyotesnarl and it wasn’t his place to yell at the medicine cat. His temper tended to get out of control in other situations.

His head swiveled back to the apprentices and warriors that were still here. ( @Vessel @elysian @SilentLamb @Shimm ) "Don't know what happened, but please try to focus on your task. If you need bile or moss, I will get it for you, or if you want to get it yourself, just let me know before walking out. M'kay?"
He hoped this made everyone calm down instead of get more upset. He didn't want to be here and the quicker they got this done, the sooner he could leave. Arguing made it miserable. And take longer.

"I dont know, I dont feel sick, only like in inhaled some dust." He rasped throat rough and tight. "But if youre concerned I'll take a nap after the meeting and if i still feel bad I'll go to see if anything can be done." It wasnt like he smelled sick really and the queens wouldve smelled and told him if it was something like white cough or kitten cough. Still maybe Willowkit had a point there wasnt a deep breath he could take without a slight struggle anymore.
