Stormtail yawned, taking care of those kits had been tiring, story after story, play time after play time. She felt as though she was about to fall down. Dovecloud blinked as a silver molly strode up to her and began to ask for advice, it took a few seconds to register before she smiled sweetly and nodded "Of course sweetie, what do you need to know?" she asked, tilting her head to the side slightly, her blue gaze shone with kindness and curiosity. The white tabby flicked the tip of her tail "If you don't mind me asking, how did you obtain the kits? What happened to their mother?" she asked, her whiskers quivered as she awaited an answer from the molly.

Stormtail was silent for a moment, "it was quite odd. I was making my way back to camp as I had just been hunting when I heard two kits mewing, I ran over to them and they were on star land door! I was about to take them home when they said their brother was lost in the snow, I found him quickly, the poor thing. He had an infected paw and was riddled with green cough! I'm going to get Surgestorm to treat them. The odd thing is, they have clan names! Acornkit, Gleamkit, and Shinekit. They lived at seastones! I couldn't leave them so I'm now their mother. But I don't know the first thing about kits!" Th molly stopped to breath, "I'm sorry for ranting..., it's just I'm tired and I don't know what to do."

AcornKit clenched his teeth. He bit down on the poppy seeds, the pulp crunching in his mouth. He moved his paw up and down, walking on his left paw then his right then left then right. The pain was starting to ease and he felt slightly sleepy.

"Are you feeling better?" Stormtail asked, eager for the response, she had once wanted to be a medicine but was pushed aside in favour of an other, but she still liked helping cats.

Green eyes glanced around, body hunched over in a perfect hunter's crouch. A golden half-tail hovered just above the ground. Golden stripes hid Shorttail from her prey, well, as much as it could. The white on her body didn't help her appear invisible much, but that didn't matter. What mattered was the fact that she had just made a grave mistake; she stepped on a twig. The snap scared her prey away, and Shorttail knew that she wouldn't be able to catch it. "Mouse dung..." she hissed. She glanced around, looking for her hunting companion, and hoping that he had better luck, and skill, than she did.

Bronzepaw opened her eyes with a start, almost yowling out. She panted, glancing around the Apprentice's den, looking for anything that might tell her she was still in her nightmare. Thankfully, the light coming through small holes of the den told her it was time to wake up. She pulled herself from her nest, licking her long fur down, then exited the den, eyes on the fresh-kill pile.
