She already knew the answer. Life wouldn't be the same if everyone knew everything all the time. That would be unbearable!

With Lightningstrike repeating her question she watched him sway and shack his head. It reminded her of an excited apprentice if she was honest. One that was trying to come off as more mature but still be to full of energy. It wasn't surprising though, Lightningstrike was young, youthful. With his answer she was honestly a bit surprised. From the way he stared of she figured he was going to say something else. Yet, that was an honorable answer. Even if it was temporary. "Oh is that so?" Pinepuff asked. "Your parents must be proud to hear that. Having a devoted warrior as a son." The warrior commented. She knew with all the cats she had adopted(claimed) she could always find a reason to be proud of them. However, having a devoted warrior for a kit must make a cat vary proud.
His next question, or comment really, almost had her laughing. Popular? Her? Oh she didn't believe that! Nice young cat like himself was surely popular around the young cats. Though she didn't quiet know what they were like these days. To each other at least. Pinepuff returned his friendly nudge from earlier. "Oh please, your just flattering me now darling!" She huffed, amused by the whole ordeal. Lightningstrike really wasn't giving himself credit though. Despite his charm and playfulness he was to humble.

Lightningstrike chuckled softly at her surprised expression, relishing in it for a moment. Despite his reaction though, he was pleased when she laughed and continued their banter. At times he seemed to realize how much he was, and in term grew to appreciate cats who could relax with him.

When Pinepuff talked of mystery again he purred too, gazing across the clearing with his bright eyes. He gazed upon all the cats gathered in the clearing, wondering if he knew this mystery cat.Though he wanted desperately to know who had this amazing she-cat's attention, he didn't press on any more however, not wanting to press his luck with such a friendly cat. "I can't help but agree with you when put it like that," he said silkily.

Lightningstrike swing his ginger head around and leveled his gaze at her, grinning when he saw her looking at him. He puffed out his chest at her reply, trying to play it off. He hadn't realized how serious he sounded, and hated thinking he had made the mood more serious. The idea of talking about his parents almost made him recoil, but he simply shrugged nonchalantly and turned his head up to the sky. "If I already have the approval of such a remarkable warrior as yourself, what more do I need?" he meowed.

He blinked in surprise when Pinepuff brushed off his compliment. He sprang onto his feat, looking at her with wide-eyes shock. "I would never dream of being dishonest about how great you are my dear Pinepuff!" he exclaimed in dismay, the look of hurt returning to his face.

The golden tom regarded Pineapple with curiosity. That actually wasn't the answer that he'd been expecting. Lionpaw had been prepared for some spiel on friendships and how they were perfectly okay as long as a cat still valued the clan first, but he supposed that blunt honesty never hurt anyone. He might have preferred it, honestly. And it wasn't his fault that he was friends with Frostpaw; he'd been friends with Frosty since before Lion joined ThunderClan and before Frosty defected to ShadowClan. The golden tom still had a suspicion that Frostpaw left for the one clan that didn't accept outsiders to avoid him, but selfish as it sounded, he would never call his friend a foxheart.

"What's your favorite type of prey?" Lionpaw asked, turning the discussion towards less serious topics. "I like mice," he added. "They're small enough for a snack and easy to catch, plus they're squishy and make funny squeaking noises." Mice were his main source of food, always readily available. Birds were a pain to catch with their wings, and fishing could be plain dangerous sometimes.

Snowmist sat in the clearing, her fluffy tail curled around her paws. She purred, and washed her fur.

She wasn't expecting him to be as panicked about this as she was. It made the guilt and fear she felt worsen.
"I, um. Tired." You're always tired, she scolded herself. "Kinda bloated, but I ended up stress eating the last few days. But what makes me think so is because my belly has been darkening and is..... oily?" Was that the right word?
Every expecting queen she's ever known had the secretions long before showing more obvious signs like vomiting and swelling. (Honestly, it wasn't many, she avoided kits and queens like a plague)
She lowered her voice even more, out of sheer embarrassment more than anything else, and had to unclench her paw before her claws sank right into the pads of her foot. "Is it.... really not an issue? It's not going against some plan?"
More than she was scared of having kits, she was terrified that not having them would further anger Starclan and that they'd send a worse punishment her way. What else could this be? The timing was too....
She closed her eyes for a solid second before opening them again, banishing her thoughts to pay attention to the cat in front of her and anything he said.

Tigerkit sat by the wall of the nursery, his pale green eyes filled with boredom. He glanced around the den, looking for somebody to play with.

Berrykit glanced over at the other kit and bounded over to him. She wasn't sure how he would react so she walked rather slowly.

Tigerkit saw a she-cat walk over to him slowly."Hi, I'm Tigerkit" he introduced himself, his eyes full of friendliness.

She thought about for a split second, then nodded. "Sure! Why not." Berrykit seemed eager to get out of the nursery.
