Tbh, it's not that shocking that you knew about it. I mean, there was going to be a new deputy in place quite quickly. So yeah, knowing about it isn't that impressive, but I suppose having a dream about it is.

Re: Chatbox
Well I knew I wouldn't get the position as my only choices were a cat who flirts with cats outside the clan in secret, a cat who cant use her hind legs, overly-motherly behaving cat, and a cat who tries to attack former kittypets and scare them out of the clan and I didn't feel like creating the ideal deputy a mary-sue or gary-sue with a few flaws as if I were hiding the reality of it being a Mary /Gary-sue

I had one cat that I wanted to possibly be deputy who was basically having family issues and wasn't sure of his loyalties and he wanted to prove his loyalty by becoming deputy. Now I'm having second thoughts and I probably won't apply him again...
I'm waiting for Overkit to grow up a bit more so I can RP her and sort out her personality cause I think she'd make a nice leader too.

Re: Chatbox
Did anyone participate in the school walk-out?

Re: Chatbox
No offense, but anyone that did do the walk-out, it was a dumb idea.
An excuse to get out of class in my opinion.

Some went on a bus to D.C to protest in front of a white house...It was a symbol to sa that students have a voice imo and raising their voice over the parkland shooting thing and all...Like my school we all got in a circle in the soccer field and listed each person who lost a life at the Parkland shooting each 1 minute apart. We had staff supervision to prevent rioting, a few students didn’t return so they can keep protesting, but I went back after 17 minutes.

Re: Chatbox
Everyone has a voice, but skipping school isn't how you show that. The government doesn't care that students, predominantly under 18, are leaving class. Once you're 18, you can vote and people will listen when voicing your opinions on the legal side of everything. Otherwise, it's irrelevant.

It’s because the adults aren’t doing anything so the students are doing something within their power, making the news about the protest, it’s like all over the news which is 1 way to make it obvious.

Re: Chatbox
Adults are doing things, but things take time. Nothings gonna change overnight, everything has to get approved and go through a system.
But I'm leaving my opinion there. It's an opinion after all.

Re: Chatbox
under president daddy, it's unlikely anything will be done. he won't bother pouring funds into mental health or bullying. i doubt he'll touch gun issues (he's trying to DODGE them by going to the video game industry instead) - he has too much to worry about with the "illegal immigrants" and the "terrorists" and the "big businesses that're being damaged by environmental regulations"!!!
we need gun control laws that have a stricter regulation than what we currently have (having ones similar to australia would be excellent), but i personally don't believe walk outs (or petitions) will change anything. it does get media attention to some extent, but it's not enough to cause change. all it'll do is make some people angry then be forgotten about in a few months.
