Eaglekit looked up at Goosefur, her eyes brightening even more. ¨You really think one of those warriors will want to be my mentor!¨ She smiled and purred a little, thinking of training with one of the warriors and being an apprentice. She nodded at Gleamkit when he asked about her being an apprentice soon. ¨I only have one more moon to go!¨ she said happily.

“I know a spunky little kit like you will have a cat asking to be your mentor, you are just as good as any other kit!” She purred.

The elder sighed, She should have waited until her eyesight was REALLY a problem before she became an elder, this kit would make an amazing apprentice and she would have loved to mentor her, but she was an elder now.
