Honeypaw was glad Frostpaw had started up the conversation again. "Oh, maybe 5 moons. I don't really know for sure.
How have you been liking ShadowClan so far? Do you have a mentor yet?"

Frostpaw watched the brown apprentice carefully. Five moons? Unless the other tom was supposed to be a warrior by now, then he must've gone missing as a kit. Either that or very early into his apprenticeship. "ShadowClan is fine," Frostpaw answered although he missed his freedom. He didn't know the territory well enough yet and sneaking out during confinement wasn't a good idea. The white tom's thoughts shifted and he continued, "My mentor is Ravenvine."

Frostpaw frowned. A mentor was a mentor. It didn't matter how kind they were as long as they trained him correctly. And he would always take a strict, experienced mentor over a kind one. "I don't know him that well," Frostpaw admitted bluntly. He knew that his mentor was blind, but that didn't stop him from training Frostpaw to the best of his abilities. His training method was quite interesting, actually. Minus the first lesson on "letting go." Psychological training wasn't exactly what the apprentice had signed up for.

"These two are joining the clan. Foxpudge and...? What was your name?" She turned to the younger she-cat, unsure. "WindClan is in shambles, so I offered them a place in our clan. Somewhere more stable, safer. They won't starve to death here, that's for certain." She looked from Foxpudge to Butterflypaw and back, her eyes deep in thought.

"My den is over there," She gestured to the base of the tree that held the highbranch. "The two of you, get yourselves treated here, and once you feel ready I can assign a warrior or two to show you around. Does that sound alright? I'm sure you can handle that, right Thunderhowl?" She looked to the old tom and raised an eyebrow.

Now Falconkit was confused. "What's not to like? You are awesome!" She loved her sister and didn't like her thinking bad about herself.

Honeypaw hoped Frostpaw would find ShadowClan the best Clan ever. But then he realized he and Shadequill were supposed to do battle training now.
"Well I have to go, but I liked talking to you. Talk soon?"
