She turned to look at her and her brother's nest, expecting her brother to complain that they were being too loud. That's when she realized how empty the nest looked. Mumblekit? Eh, he'll be ok. He's probably in the elders den or something. But If he left camp..? Nah, it's ok. It's not like he would ever leave camp. He probably IS in the elder's den, listening to stories of cats long, long ago. I'll check on him later, Fernkit thought. Right now, she had a mouse to catch!

Berrybreeze watched her in confusion. She was having what was essentially a temper tantrum over... not being able to fight. Sure, most apprentices are excited to battle, but they quickly learn it's not what it's cracked up to be once they experience it. Quailpaw, though... it was different. "Can you teach me now?" Quailpaw inquired, eyes batting beggingly at her mentor. Berrybreeze can't refuse to train her, right? "I promise I'll train hard! ShadowClan won't know what hit 'em when Quailpaw comes around!" She swiped the air to show off, but only threw herself off balance and fell face-first into the dirt.

Nightkit struggled to keep Fernkit down, laughing playfully and getting off "For once my black pelt comes in handy in this bright camp!" She laughs, quickly getting into a hunters crouch "What do you wanna do now?"

Fernkit thought for a moment, then came up with an Idea. "I'll be right back!" She called as she left the nursery. She couldn't wait - let's just hope her brother wouldn't get too angry with this.

Nightkit looked confused and sits down, beginning to groom her fur to get the dust out "icky" she mumbled, not enjoying the grooming but not really knowing what to do at this point while she waits for her friend.

Heartkit bounced into the den and called in a sing song voice, "I'm back!" Behind her was a kit the same age as her. It was her brother. "Nightkit! Wanna meet someone?"
(Sorry I changed the name, I just realized Fernkit was a Riverclan kit!)

Nightkit looks up curiously at the two, her tail flicking and giving away her curiosity "sure I would love to" She hoped she groomed her fur well while her friend was gone
