Ottersplash padded into the RiverClan clearing, scanning it for his new apprentice, Basilpaw. No sign here, maybe she was sleeping or something; the white and ginger tom padded in the direction of his old the apprentice's den. This was... so weird, honestly. Flying hedgehogs, weird, because he never had so much responsibility before. Otter was still getting over jitters at the thought of telling anycat what to do, let alone having an entire apprentice to himself! Not only that, but Otter was Basil's third mentor. Third. Poor kid...but also, it sucked, because Basil had reference for what an actual mentor was supposed to do, right? Well. Okay maybe not the leaving part, scratch that. But still.

"Basilpaw! Hey, you ready for some training?" Ottersplash called out toward the apprentice's den, voice light despite the sinking feeling in his chest. The tom smiled with as much warmth as he could muster. "I think it's time we got to know each other a little more... ya know? And figure out some mentor-y things while we're at it."

Sparrowskip noticed a face he hadn't seen in a while.. Was that.. was that Gingerfrost? He walked over to him. "Hey Gingerfrost! Its been a while, how've you been?" @Estelle (sorry for the long wait!)

Basilpaw was relaxing in the apprentice's den when she heard her name and jumped up. She padded into the clearing, grinning. "Cool!" she said. @Redtalon

Bristlepaw hadn't noticed Springcry come over until he was standing in front of him. His comment on his name didn't make a good impression that was for sure. "What do you want." He grumbled, not making much effort to be kind. If this idiot wanted to start out rude he'd do the same.

Springcry smiled awkwardly at Bristlepaw. Perhaps that comment was rude? He didn't know, really. It was just remarking. The other cat could talk about his name, however he liked. "Want to train? Apologies about those words about your name." Springcry walked a little farther towards the entrance, ready to move out, without much words perhaps.

The Calliby sauntered out of the Warriors den, fur a complete mess. He thought of just shaking, but he knew it would make it worse. Maybe going into the River or one of the ponds? No. It was getting colder and colder each night. He stuck his tongue out in annoyance and made his way further into the clearing. Without even giving it a second thought the Warrior sat himself beside a clanmate and lowered his head, ears perked up.

A smile plastered on his face "Would you mind helping me clean up my fur? There's a few spots I just can't reach."

Bristlepaw didn’t see much way out of this. He was a warrior. Bristlepaw was an apprentice. Not much say in anything to be honest from his point of view. “Fine.” As always, his voice was grumbly, annoyed, and unwilling.
