Snailblossom heard a familiar voice and turned to see her friend Foxpudge. Was it that obvious she was going hunting? The black and white tuxedo cat placed her normal eye on the other warrior. She was half glad to not go hunting by herself and did indeed want somebody to go with her. Anything could happen.

"Yes I was just about to go hunting.", Snailblossom meowed with a friendly smile. She gave her tail a flicker, her spirits were high now. "I don't mind at all if you come. I didn't exactly want to out by myself.", she added. Snailblossom dipped her head and heard a younger voice. She turned around to see Hogpaw. She was at all surprised by his looks. It made her feel a little bit better about herself.

The young warrior gave him the same friendly smile."If Foxpudge don't mind I don't care if you come with us. The clan must be fed.", she meowed. Snailblossom was more excited now that there might be one more cat to join them on a hunt. The clan sure could use the food.

Foxpudge did like how her demeanor seem to change, her darkened spirits seemed to be brightened by the idea of company. Good! He didn't want her to be sad. "Sounds like a plan. Lead the way, Snailblossom."

At Hogpaw's voice, he paused, muzzle breaking into a grin. "Of course you can come, Hogpaw. I don't know what your mentor.. Boulderthrike? I'm not sure what he's taught you, but we can go over the basics once we're outside."

A wide grin broke over the tom's face, his eyes bright with joy. "Thank you!" he said, nearly bouncing on his toes. Hogpaw looked between the two warriors, waiting for the she-cat to begin moving outside of the camp. He hadn't been out in a while, so some fresh air would be nice to have. And maybe he'd get some useful training!

Simmerpaw, after finishing surveying the warriors den with Robinflight, sought out the very cat who had assigned the two of them to check the den. There was a significant lack of enthusiasm and color to the young tom as he approached the deputy.
"There were um.. Quite a few. Quite a few.." He seemed to struggle with the words and truthfully couldn't look the she-cat in the eyes as he tried to finish what he was saying.
"Dead. I-I didn't.. I didn't want to count them, so you'll h-have to take Robinflight's word for it. Eleven.. He counted eleven but I.. I couldn't.. I couldn't look at them." The apprentice had been the first to leave the den, more eager to get this report done with so maybe he could have a chance of wiping his memory of the corpses, the smell of the den.

Twilightshine was happy to hear that Tawnystep was willing to share with her, but... What's with the staring? Had she been any less laid back, the deputy might have been uncomfortable with the way the molly was looking at her. It took a few seconds before she figured out that she was waiting for her to eat. She restrained that urge to laugh at how serious Tawnystep appeared again while ducking her head to take a chunk out of the rabbit. It was cold and slightly chewie but prey was prey and she was the last one to complain about something editable. She noses the rabbit Tawnystep's way when she catches sight of one of the apprentices she had assigned to one of the dens. Getting to her paws, Twilightshine took a few steps away to meet him.
She flattened one ear against her head at how visibly rattled Simmerpaw appeared, a far cry from how Rosepaw had acted. "Alright, well done. You're free to do as you please for the rest of the day." She answered tonelessly. "Will you be alright?" She wondered after a slight pause, the poor tom did appear rather shaken by the event.

Tawnystep took a bite, side-eyeing Twilightshine and making sure that she had swallowed. She hummed, almost salivating as she chewed the delicious food. Even as her belly was full, it was such a delightful taste after nearly starving for a moon. The russet molly swallowed and took another small bite, then forced herself to save the rest for the deputy. She watched Twilightshine as she spoke to another WindClanner, her head tilted to the side. I wonder how Foxpudge and Warblerpaw have managed in their... gift giving. Her tail flicked and she took a deep breath, staring down at her paws as she waited for Twilightshine to return and continue eating.

Graykit becomes sad. she thinks everyone ignores her. she just wants someone to notice her.

Snailblossom padded out of the camp, leading the two other cats out to go hunting. She looked ahead of her, but kept her paws quite as to bot scare any prey off. If she did they would never find. The molly tuened to look at them.

"Any idea of a good place to hunt?", Snailblossom meowed. She gave her tail a quick flicker.

Snailblossom sniffed the air, pretending that she could smell, since she didn't know Hogpaw all that well. She didn't know if he knew she had no sense of smell. The black and white molly hated that she couldn't smell anything.

Brightstar glanced down at his reminder. Yeah, she did have to deal with a dying Clan. Maybe it'd get better come new-leaf and they could get more prey. Kits would far better too. "Don't remind me..." She mewed before taking a bite of her meal. This tasted different then she remembered rabbit tasting. Had it really been that long sense she ate it? The creamy molly didn't mind though, she was to hungry to complain.
Bright relaxed as Foxpudge began cleaning her fur. It was nice to have someone care for you like this. "Yeah, but a lot happened. Plus some of those are new." Brightstar commented after he pointed out her scratches again. They didn't bother her so they were probably not infected.

(Sorry for the long wait! :o)

Letting out a small sigh, Cypressflare shook her head. Why did the tiny kit take it seriously? The molly was just trying to get rid of her for the time being, and now look where it ended up. Another conversation. And a stupid one, at that. ”It’s just some gossip I heard from the other queens. Now settle down, it’s not like I know who did it.” Her tone seemed to immediately switch from the semi-comforting voice to one of annoyance. Settling back down quickly from the outburst, the feline let out a forced smile “If you want, I can tell you why the cat went crazy, if that’ll... settle your curiosity.” She offered. Perhaps Lambkit would fall asleep after she told her about the pesticides and all. Oh, what a vacation that would be. The not-so-motherly Cypressflare took any opportunity she got to get rid of her kit, even for just a short period of time. Ready to tell her about the recent events that Lamb wasn’t present for, she awaited for her inevitable interest in the story.
