Fawnlight
Despite the leader sitting at the mouth of the den, cats were still calling up to her about where he was and if he was okay. But her brother was quick to inform the Clan that he was, indeed, alright, and to give her their full attention. Fawnlight hardly felt bothered by it - in fact she quite understood it. Pikestar's sickness had developed some rather rough points, but thankfully he was finally well enough to return to the Clan. He was even well enough to call this meeting, but something told her that she needed to call this, if for no one else but herself.

There were a few faces in the crowd that were friendly and kind, one of which she noticed was Lilycreek. The wave of her tail didn't go unnoticed and Fawnlight returned it with a dip of her head. Her brother, of course, who nodded towards her from where he sat at the mouth of his den. Others were watching her intently, as if trying to figure out why in the stars their medicine cat was calling a meeting and not their leader or deputy. A few quiet conversations continued between the cats below as she allowed them time to gather.

"I firstly want to assure you all that Pikestar is doing alright. In fact, the treatments I have been working on with him have worked well enough to rid him of the cough he had, and I am pleased to announce that, as of now, the quarantine order is lifted." A smile appeared on her face (as a small amount of pride flooded her chest) at the announcement that her brother was doing better. She was thankful that he hadn't lost a life to this nasty bout of sickness, and instead was stronger than ever.

Clearing her throat, she decided after allowing a moment of silence for that information it was time to launch into why she had called this meeting to order. "Outside of that... I have recently returned from the Starcave last night. I was able to speak with our ancestors... and they have given me my full name. I am now Fawnlight, and I am proud to serve as your full medicine cat." Despite how proud she was of herself, there was still an air of humility around her and glimmering in her eyes. Truly, all she wanted in life was to aid her Clan in the best way possible.

"In addition to my classes with our Clans' youth, I will be holding a more advanced class in the future for all of RiverClan to attend. This will get our warriors knowledgeable about some remedies and herbs to help out, incase for some reason I am not readily available." Of course she would need to figure out the details of that with Pikestar, but there would be time for that later. For now, she decided to take a moment to let this information sink in to her Clan.

[ Apologies about posting so soon after the first post - I just wanted to get her name out before the next gathering started as I wasn't sure if I would have time tomorrow. The next meeting post will likely happen in another day, day and a half ]

The two apprentices jumped. Bluebellpaw glanced around wildly, before her gaze landed on a cat maybe a moon or two younger than she was. Cousin? She racked her brains. Why hadn't she seen this one around before? She didn't have many, just Spiderkit, Caterpillarkit, and Kestrelpaw. Auntie Lilycreek's siblings didn't have any kits either.

Then, something clicked. "...Rosemarykit? Is that you?" She had heard of Lilycreek's lost kit, and seen her once. Why didn't her aunt tell her Rosemarykit came back?


Kestrelpaw frowned. Did she know this one? Probably not; Seedheart had tons of kids. Biological and adopted, so it was hard to keep track. But Bluebellpaw seemed to know who this one was, so she'd play along. Where had she heard the name before?

She wrinkled her nose a little. What was up with Bouncepaw's word choice? "Pretty sure you don't need to go as far as to call him 'sir'," she commented blandly. "Though I do hope he has; that whitecough really seemed to engulf him."

Kestrelpaw turned to cough, but really, she was rolling her eyes. Sir? Really? And, Pike? Puh-lease. Just use his real name.

He smiled, sitting in the back, he listened everything, they had a new medecine [B]"The Starclan had chosen her..."[B] he mutered happily, he then reported his attention back on the Streamstone, in case other informations could be said

Bouncepaw felt a big wave of joy spread over him. He had been happy at the announcement of Pikestar being okay. He smiled widely. ”congrats, Fawnlight” he whispered

If we’re saying Prounouns, mine are his/him! Used to be they/them but I changed it. And I like guys” He gestured as in asking her if she’d like to sit next to him

Beetlekit cheered loudly from his spot, "FAWNLIGHT FAWNLIGHT." truly the medicine cat was the only name he has remembered so far, she was so cool! she was able to heal Pokestar and make him feel all better! SHE WAS THE BEST!! He wanted to talk to her soon, he wanted to learn anything he could from her!!

Fogcloud smiled lightly when Fawnlight announced their full name, she cheered, "Fawnlight!! Fawnlight!!" Truly the silver tabby did not know the medicine cat closely just yet but she was proud of the young cat.


Goosehonk honked excitedly at Fawnlight's announcements.

Cicadapaw silently cheered in her head but her tail waved back and forth in joy for the medicine cat.

Nightpaw's eyes sparkled "FawnLight, Fawnlight" she sparkled with joy thats good news so was the new classes too.

Copperpaw smiled at the medicine cat's new name. "Suits you, Fawnlight." She said.
