Personality: Darknose is a friendly, if not teasingly snarky cat. He is decidedly open-minded when it comes to both his clanmates and any outsiders he may come across, placing his duty as a gatherer over whether or not a cat may want or deserve to be healed. Oftentimes he may get absorbed in little details, the colour of a particular leaf, the scent in the morning air or how a bug moves across the camp. While seeing a grown tom staring much too close at a single leaf may seem strange, his keen sense of smell, good memory and attention to detail fit him well into his rank.
Appearance: A boxy, stout black tom with stipplings of grey around his muzzle and toes. He has youthful, owl-like eyes that are such a pale yellow they are more of an off-white. Being born without a tail and then-some with related neurological issues, the nerves in his hind legs don’t work particularly well and so while he can still walk, the movement in his back-end is quite clumsy. If he were to run, Darknose would likely trip over himself and so he tends to move at his own stumbling pace.
