Duke's first day out! ( OPEN )

Duke sat on the porch of the twoleg nest, sniffing the air. Duke was about 7 or 8 moons old, but he was very small. He was about the size of a 5 moon old kit, and the other kitty-pets teased him about it. The sky blue collar around his neck had a little bell on it, that jingled quietly. Duke licked his paw and stared into the forest ahead. Finally, he stood up and leapt off the porch. He padded into the garden that lay infront of the twoleg nest, sniffing for mice that nibbled on the squash.

Marvin was poking around in a flower bed, his sleek brownish-copper fur clumped with dirt. Marvin was a muscular Abyssinian, which was odd. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Duke, his neighbor. Marvin got up and ran after Duke, his eyes wide with curiousity. He saw Duke walk into the twoleg's garden, and tilted his head. He quietly padded over to his friend, his blue eyes fixed on Duke.
